Winter has arrived in Texas, I think I need more kitties to keep warm. The baby kitty is on my lap purring. :)

The baby kitty is still in bed snoozing. I wish that I was too.

pumpndude 11-23-2016 05:16 PM

they went outside did there thing , then I played catch with my rott (Cherokee) and my husky/malamute (bear) stayed by me....

My rott always puts his ball in his mouth if he thinks I'm going outside...I have good dogs..:hangloose:

easygoingfemme 11-23-2016 06:28 PM

The dog has just been sleeping in my bed all day except for going outside to go to the bathroom and nose his food around a couple times.

The cats harassed me for treats this morning. Then they all sprawled out on the new daybed and slept there for a few hours, then they slept upstairs, then they slept downstairs on the daybed, then they went upstairs and spread out and slept more.

Bunch of freeloading bums here.

JDeere 11-23-2016 07:09 PM

We had to buy non slip socks for my parent's dog, she has back issues and trouble walking on the slick tile floor in the house. She looks like she has knickers on.

My dog went on an adventure without me as well, I think she escapes simply so that she can take a ride in the truck.

Soft*Silver 11-23-2016 09:20 PM

I have a 9 month old pup named Moon Unit Zappa. She looks like a border collie but is a cross between a Mareema (italian version of great pyranees) and an english shepard, both herding breeds. She is all pup yet and a joy to my soul.

Today she ate my hair dye

I left it on my end table, and when I returned to my recliner, she had opened the box, bit thru the clear stuff and was working on the colorant. Oh by god by jezzus! :jester: I was scared to death but she hadnt gotten any IN her, and my hubbie got it up off the rug for me while I tended to the dog.

I told her she was not allowed to color her hair until she was older. She was not amused....because she promptly ate one of the grand daughters spatula's from the kitchencenter...

GeorgiaMa'am 11-24-2016 07:30 PM

Tiny Dog has just pushed her food around in her bowl today. She _thinks_ some of those leftovers are going to be for her, but she thinks wrong.

Even Kitty Diva was intrigued by the smells. She's usually ambivalent.

deeds 12-02-2016 04:12 AM

My sweet little kitty, in ninja style, jumped on the back of my recliner and snatched me up by the hair of my head and said "Bitch, you better never splash me with water again"

Got up..walked into kitchen to make coffee..and the kitty was sitting and staring at me. I said to her..."What did you do now?" Then made coffee.

Now that it is cold in Texas the baby kitty wants to stay in bed late in the morning. I get in trouble with her for making the bed too early. Ugg.

bright_arrow 12-02-2016 11:25 PM

Meowed, and meowed, and meowed at the gate until we turned the space heater on in the living room and now they are cuddling. :jester:

The baby kitty wants to go to bed but I keep trying to finish my work. I think she is disappointed. You know that it is cold in Texas when the kitty wants to sleep under the covers. Haha!

The baby kitty is getting in as much lap time as possible.

Our morning routine is sweet, when I go to the batheoom sink to comb my hair she jumps up on the counter and begs to have her fur combed too. She is so cute!

cinnamongrrl 12-11-2016 07:58 PM

They taste tested the sweet potato treats I made them :)

RockOn 12-11-2016 08:17 PM

Jennifer and Kevin played hard outside today most of the day. They were perfectly behaved ... in fact all weekend. Neither lost privileges by having to be made to go inside and time out. No more running off into the woods by themselves. There is no danger now but here is the plan ... we are practicing for warm weather when the slithering ones come out of hibernation.

Zimmeh 12-11-2016 11:17 PM

Babygirl took a very long nap after her bath. She received a special treat for letting me bathe her :)

Sbe stole a pack of ketchup out of my lunch box. Thankfully she did not puncture it. It was still in tact when I found it.

I just walked in from a long day and the baby kitty is running and jumping off the furniture high into the air. She is singing to me as she runs through the house looking back at me as if to say common dad let's play. I think she missed me and I know that I missed her.

Lets just say he in doggie jail, and leave it at that

cinnamongrrl 12-19-2016 08:54 PM

Little bitsy snuck her 3 favorite toys into my bed...

I went to go turn it down and there they were lol. I don't know if she was trying to say she wanted to go to bed or if she was just being sweet and sharing. It was adorable either way... :)

Soft*Silver 12-20-2016 09:05 PM

my baby girl pup, Moon, came into her first heat. She is so needy, climbing halfway into my lap (she is a big dog), she leans her face against my heart and wants comfort from me. I have never had a dog so emotional like she is. I dont want to anthropomorphize but how can I not when she does things like this!

cinnamongrrl 12-21-2016 06:08 PM

They were very curious about an injured turtle I found and brought home.

Now they're all munching on smoked hocks I got while I was at the store getting the turtle some hamburger. (He or she is a small snapper)

Tonight a couple of wolf spiders came into my house. They are harmless but entertaining. The baby kitty had the best time chasing them around the house. Silly kitty.

FireSignFemme 12-23-2016 11:39 PM

- Batted wrapping paper around

- Cried to go out umpteen times

- Changed mind each time door was opened revealing - still snow out there

- Ate healthy food

- Ate some more healthy food

- Still begged for cat treats

- Slept in new cat perch condo/hangout Santa brought

- Chased new catnip ball Santa brought around and around

- Exhausted zonked out on new garish Christmas print fleecy throw

- Chased tail

- Perched statue still, like a gargoyle, peering down on mere pissant mortals below from high places

- Shredded old scratching post a bit

- Shredded new scratching post more

- Head butted slave for letting the keyboard have all her attention

- As soon as relenting, slave paused to give full attention, ran away and ignored slave until slave got busy involved engrossed in typing again. Then came over to investigate, interfere and head butt some more. When slave again paused ran away. Repeated ad nauseam/seemingly world without end amen

- Batted some dice onto the floor and swatted them around with his paw till they disappeared under the stove - Viva Las Vegas!

And to think according to kitty time, the night's still young. :ballcat:

One old doggie has taught the other, much older doggie to do The Belly Crawl... it's too funny and cracks me up because he adds his extra flair to it by making his back legs paddle like he's swimming. For two old dogs, they sure have had fun doing this several mornings in a row.

I wouldn't call the wolf spider harmless. The bite is not lethal but it is painful and toxic. Good thing no one got bit.

Some cats enjoy leash walks. It broadens their scope of the world. My cat enjoys car rides. I'd happily try her with a leash for hiking if I didn't have 3 dogs that need the exercise more lol (Eleanor is an indoor outdoor cat)
