True, oh so true. That's what we call "bacon and eggs", and usually comes with a so-called English muffin or rolls. Talk about artery-clogging, but it's my tradition at Christmas :).

Black puddin' is blood sausage and delish (especially the ones from Bury Market)...fried bread is exactly as it implies. Arteries are clogged and hips widened just cooking it! ;)

I love stargazing...it was particularly fine when I spent a lot of time in Lincolnshire (not much street lighting in the middle of nowhere). Another super experience was moon and star watching whilst driving through the Moroccan Sahara.

Eh, bake alive or freeze to death? I guess that's true, I'd take heat. Actually, "desert" has little to do with temperature and is defined by precipitation. (Morocco??)

Aye the Moroccan Sahara. The Sahara is huge and covers parts of many countries.
Dead right, desert classification is based, often, on total precipitation. There are many cold deserts too.

Define "fluent". I could do the essentials-eat, pee and shop-in France, Spain or Russia. I could find a few words of Chinese, German or Italian. I don't have enough words in any for a long-ish conversation, though. I had the most trouble with British English, and that is my mother tongue!

True, sort of. I always wanted to be a famous paleontologist and dig up dinosaur bones. I've gone fossil digging, though not where dinos would be, climbed rocks, though not where dinos would be, and got into teaching. So, a few detours but pretty close.
