Well, I tend to aim for the plumpest juiciest section; and bite into it. From entry, i continue from side to side and up and down at random. All the while, I moving it round and round. I have gazed upon others that move it in and out and suck the juice off of it. |

This is worth preparing. First you select the right ear. You hold it in your hand with its stalk covering it. You slowly peel back the cover, eye the size of the kernels. Does it look plump and juicy? Will the flavor explode in your mouth? You peel back, ( or rip off, if your in a hurry, hungry) the covering. Roll it between to hands to remove all the silk. Now the choice, boil it or grill it? Warm water plumps it up, grilling makes the best flavor. After its cooked, the buttering up is always a fun thing. You can use your finger to slide the butter up and down, so it doesn't slide off. Me, I really enjoy each cob differently. Sometimes I go up and down. And others I go round and round. I must say, I take great care making sure I get it all. Love the kernels on the top the best! I will also add, it's almost always a little messy. I always have to wipe off my face! |
