went to the doc today.. grrr ive been having this killer pain in my right groin that runs all the way down my right leg... double grr... she said its a hernia... triple grr... she also said stay off the bike until after i have surgery... i say why not just shoot me!

HOLY CRAP!! That is some funny! The second time she fell reminded me of my grandpa saying after he fell, "I'm getting faster in my old age. When I was a younger man, I would stumble for 20 feet before I fell down. Now, I just fall down."

I don't know what it is about people falling down. I can keep it together long enough to ask if they're ok. Then laughing my ass off ensues.

From where I am laying on the couch bed pulled out I can see out the windows and into the valley beyond the house. Its raining here, but not real rain, just that misty heavy wetness that hangs in the air soaking everything.

It makes me smile. It makes me thing of things between, magical wonderful things. Small voices that tell you what you need to know. Things half seen in the mist that push you forward, deeper, toward a goal you never knew you had. I love this kind of rain, obscuring the world and highlighting that which is normally passed over as mundane.
