Here's to a quick recovery! Flu is no fun! :cough: Tread carefully here sugar, but definitely ask her out for something casual where you two can talk. Communication is a key foundation in any relationship, and I would definitely suggest cutting out the middlemen to ensure you are on the same page and nothing is lost in translation. It's obvious you really like this girl, however I feel it is prudent to identify where she is mentally and emotionally, especially knowing that she is unsure about your being trans. The last thing you want to be is a curiosity to her only to realize later she can't deal, after you are emotionally invested. A red flag for me in your post was her stating that she would be interested after the final surgery, then stating a different attitude in a conversation with a mutual friend. While humans often change their minds, there's a difference in "waffling" and a definitive change in convictions. Only thorough a face to face interaction are you going to be able to assess where she truly stands. Should all go well, it could be the gateway to setting aside your fears and feeling comfortable asking her out! Having an open, honest conversation will help you determine the best thing for you, and ultimately the future of your relationship with this girl, whether it's staying just friends or something more! I would not be okay with the hormones were this my child. Generally they prescribe hormone-blocking meds at this age to stop the masculinization process from happening, then provide hormones and surgeries at later dates.

Up early working on my Dis. Lots of work, but it is kind of fun! Went to see my Thai friend yesterday. It was moms bday so me and a buddy took mom there for lunch. I wanted to be certain that my perception was not skewed of this woman's intentions towards me. My buddy said it was very overt and that she "wants me bad" LOL Well I guess now that I am certain of her feelings, I now have to figure out what to do. I am still torn as to how to approach this. My buddy said that we looked very comfortable and natural together. It feels that way too. But, what risk am I wiling to take. I think this is the question I have to answer before I do anything. Perhaps one day there will be a world where it is the content of ones character that is important rather than the color of ones skin or the structure of ones genitals. |

Mick, I would gladly trade places with you or join you even! It is currently -4* here with a high of 15*. The winds will make it seem colder. How it can seem any colder than that, I'm not sure! All I know is it's too cold to even go outside! I just wanna stay in bed and bury myself under the covers!!!

I'm up early and enjoying a nice, hot, cup of coffee. The weather can't quite decide what it wants to do here in Dallas. It was 79 on Thursday, now we are back in the mid 40's, and it is just generally grey and gloomy. Guess it is a good day to get my nails done, catch up on homework, and try out a new coconut flour bread recipe I found. I'll save the outdoor activities for a pretty day! Going to go to Bandera yeehaw Texas. It's about 30 miles away, it's the Cowboy Capital of The world. Why? It's a one light town, lol? Going to go see my fav 14 year old cowboy boy try his hand on a bull today. This will be his fourth time. I love that little guy, he is so cowboy, lol. So off to pull on my jeans. Enjoy the day! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!!! I had a nice weekend. I hung out with a friend on Friday. We saw a movie and got dinner. Saturday I did some cleaning around the apartment, was gonna go out but due to some complications that night I was ordered to stay home. Sunday rolled around, I got to see my best friend we have known each other almost 13 yrs! Her and her wife we all met up for Brunch yesterday. Great time good conversation. I came home and relaxed for most of the day, then went grocery shopping. First time in over a month since I had gone!
Well let's hope this week is off to a good start for everyone! |

I had a mellow weekend, which I was a little bummed out about since I'm used running Mach 5 with my hair on fire! Lol! Turned out to be a good thing though! I managed to get ahead on my studies, planned my summer vacation, had my nails done, tried out a new paleo bread recipe, and got Muse tickets! Monday isn't slowing down either! Just found out I have to go to New York on Friday for work. Let's hope the rest of the week is just as exciting! Have a terrific week everybody! :) ~M |

Interesting start for the day. I woke up to a flooded bathroom ack! Luckily it wasn't a clogged pipe or anything like that. But it was coming from the ceiling. My A/C had condensation but the drip pan, wasn't draining properly, so it started leaking all over my floor how nice. I just got into work about 15 minutes ago. *Sighs* why is it whenever I try to get up early and get started off right something has to happen. Oh well maintenance came and I hope they fixed it we will find out. Sooner then later I hope. Anyways, the storms are starting to roll in I love thunderstorms! My truck was being tossed around like a toy on the highway. Anyways hope all have a great day be safe!

Super Bowl Weekend!!!
Ok is it Friday yet!? I already have a semi busy weekend. Friday night I have a good friend staying over the night. Saturday I haven't decided what I am going to do as of yet... Shall be determined.... Sunday!!! FUNDAY!!! I have my triathlon team Open House!!! Get to see some faces I haven't seen in a while, then after that I am going to a Super Bowl party!!! Wooohoo.
