Hello my fellow Floridians! Add one more to the count. I'm hailing from Northern FL, Tallahassee to be exact.

Anyone know some "must-attend" events that go on in Northern or Central FL over the year? I feel so out of loop on what's fun and what's not? I just need to get out more lol.

me too! :) i'll post here closer to my visit so we can arrange something. i'm flying into atlanta then visiting my sister in ft. gaines (about 2 hrs north of tally) from the 18th-23rdish, then i'll be in tally for about a week. so plenty of time to have coffee or whatever. unfortunately i'm dependent on other folks/the bus system for transportation so traveling outside of tallahassee isn't much of a possibility this trip :(

No worries, I can always pick ya up and we can go grab a bite to eat or you drink coffee and I drink whatever else lol. We'll fine tune the details later.

Friday June 1 - Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon night party
Saturday June 2 - Magic Kingdom
Sunday June 3 - Epcot with Drink Around The World and Dance

We were just at Siesta Keys at the beginning of March and it was beautiful! We love that whole area from Bradenton thru the Siesta Keys! Let us know when you are planning on going so we can meet up!

Today is the Italian Festival here in Tampa!! Can't wait to go have some great food and learn more about Italian cultures and see Guy in His element! :)

I am thinking Friday. I will let you guys know for sure!

Flutter where do you come from ? I just moved here the end of last year myself from CO. I must say I do not miss the cold and snow! brrrr rr rrr. hehe. I find myself cold now if it's below 70. :eyebrow:

We have get togethers from time to time and some of us are available for lunch, dinner if we are ever in each other's vicinity.
