I have been on an untenable schedule of duty for the past thrre months, but if I were to name 5 good things tonight, I would say.....

Goodie Two Shoes
1. Having a woman who will beat me upside the head with a baseball bat if I get out of line .
2. A bucket of Tater Tots with 2 ketchup packets. 3. When a big chunk of ear wax falls out my ear. 4. Electric wakeboards. 5. Martini's that make me horny. |
Going fishing in a beautiful, peaceful place and almost immediately, back to back catching three huge rainbow trout!! So excited just like a little kid with their first fish (it NEVER gets old, learned to fish at 4 years old and still love every moment I get...even when the fish thrashes around so much it broke my pole in half)....released one and kept two for the grill!! A 1.5 pounder and 2 pounder!
The best campground I've ever stayed at. Finding new treasures. My first Emerald being cut and delivered in a few weeks....and the most fun part is I found it as a raw stone in a huge bucket of other gems, gravel and sand. All the smiles and healing moments I had this weekend...Spirit Dumps sure are a healthy way for me to process messy stuff. My comical dogs |

Finding my mailbox stuffed full with a package of the paracord I ordered the other day, and a new to me book of knots and ropework, first published in 1977.
Friends taking a much needed vacation. Receiving a special bookmark with a picture & poem on one side and my Dad's obituary on the other side. Hard to believe it's been almost a month since he passed. It has been rainy and cloudy here for the last couple of weeks, but the stars are shining in a clear...well mostly clear, sky tonight. ;) Listening to Eckhart Tolle expound on the consciousness. Fascinating! |

Starting my day with the lunar eclipse while the breeze kissed my skin and Orion sparked brightly even as the sun was rising...
A good nap after a full night of star gazing, then waking to a cool mid-morning with blue skies and happy puppies... A long hot bubble bath... Car windows down, Blasting and Cranking my surround sound with Nickelback and other rock as I cut through gorgeous country shortcuts (to avoid the highway) with rolling hills and fields of soybeans turning an autumn yellow and miles of cotton ready to be gleaned by huge machines...passing beautiful" paint" and Appaloosa horses enjoying fresh cut, fragrant alfalfa and hay...to retrieve treats from a South Carolina market...thoroughly enjoying my ride and soaking up peaceful energy... Coming home in time to kick back and relax... No pressure or demands from working in politics or corporate drama |
