West of the Sun, East of the Moon (Diana Krall) A little side note: West of the Sun East of the Moon is an very old Norwegian fairy tale. If I'm not mistaken, Beauty and The Beast is an adaptation of this original fairy tale. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/East...on?wprov=sfla1 |

Moon River -- Henry Mancini and his Orchestra and Choir Moon river, wider than a mile I'm crossing you in style some day Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way Two drifters, off to see the world There's such a lot of world to see We're after the same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me ~Theo~ :winky::heartbeat::listening::bouquet: |
From Meghan & Harry's wedding. Breathtaking.
Sheku Kanneh-Mason, a 19-year-old cellist from Nottingham, captivated the congregation and everyone watching the royal wedding, his music filling St. George's Chapel. Sheku has been playing since he was 6. He has a nearly priceless Amati cello that's more than 400 years old and is never out of his sight. He's studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London on a full scholarship, along with his older siblings. In fact, every one of Sheku's six brothers and sisters have spent their life playing classical music. |
The Kanneh-Masons: The Family that plays together
I hope that it is ok to post this here as it is not a strictly musical piece. I had to find more information about the rest of the musical prodigies (and that devote an extraordinary amount of time practicing) in the family. If you have interest, I hope that you enjoy it.

Thank you Anya for sharing about Sheku Kannah-Mason and his family and the beautiful music they make; especially Sheku's cello performance at St George's Chapel.... such beautiful, exquisite music! I loved hearing it, so very very beautiful. :)
