Hey everyone!

had to drag myself away from the Olympics for a bit and catch up on a few threads.

Incubus - I took a look at your self portraits. Some really good stuff! Me - I just have a point & shoot - so my pics aren't as artistic as yours. Finally started to put some stuff in Flickr - not much yet, tho. Have to decide exactly what I want to do with it.

MS - how are you doing today?

Well, all this talk about f&c has gotten me hungry! Going to grab a quick dinner and then off to watch Olympic hockey and figure skating.

noooo there's an inner layer to protect the fish and chips - with mushy peas!

We have some stunning scenery over here, I'd need to raid Ingress's flickr account to show you some pictures of amazing places (she's the photographer in the family) but it wouldn't be fair play to do so without asking her first - she's sound asleep now so I will try remember to ask her tomorrow.
:D

... peas???....

sorry for snipping your post Wryly.

awww thanks for taking the time to have a look Wryly...y'know you don't need anything more than a point-and-shoot with a 10sec timer and a lil imagination and you could have more 'artistic' type pictures...why don't you have a go, take a self portrait a day for the next week! :D

I'm a bad northerner, I spice my mushy peas up with my ever present chilli

oh and one side effect of mushy peas :fart:

Hello lofters...joining in. How is everyones day? Mine has been crappy but until I find another job I'm afraid it's going to continue to be. Enjoy your evening! I'm working on Lesson plans and drinking vodka with ice tea. Wonder how my lessons will turn out! lol

I have indeed had mushy peas many times, both here in Canada and in the UK... I have lived in the UK and my Dad was Welsh-born... where I live in Canada presently I can purchase mushy peas both tinned and dried !

To avoid the after effects of mushy peas, other legumes and Brassicaceae (also called Cruciferae) Cruciferous vegetables you need to try this...

http://www.beanogas.com/

GlaxoSmithKline is the manufacturer for Canada and the US... likely the UK as well. It's not a drug but an enzyme that aids in digestion and either reduces or eliminates the production of intestinal gas when you eat certain types of foods. It works !

I love mushy peas with just about anything but esp with lamb chops or roast and always with fish and chips... I also use them as an ingredient when I make veggie cutlets YUM YUM !

Hola ruthie - just how did your lesson plans turn out? :cheesy: ...vodka and iced tea sounds lovely - a Russian Tea almost huh?

ahaaa Lieslkate, is it Batchelors peas you get in cans, I think they are by far the most famous brand? ...I've never used them as part of anything like cutlets that's an interesting idea.

Now, I wish I could get Beanogas, can't say I've ever seen it here. Whereabout in the Uk have you lived?
