GM3 ways to spend a cold, rainy Saturday....

bitterly cold, windy and snowy Saturday here:

1. Sleep in, walk dog, return to bed with a french press of coffee and a book.

2. Meet Bestie for annual Champagne tasting at a local wine shop - taste 20 fancy-pants artisanal small-batch Champagnes, return home feeling significantly warmer than when you left.

3. Return home, make a lovely hot meal and retire back to bed with a hot toddy and aforementioned book.


Give me three ways to spend a snowed-in Sunday

Since we really don't have those kind of days down South I would act a fool and....

1. Run around outside like crazy at midnight because it is *snowing*!!!

2. Make a snow angel

3. Have a snowball fight!!

4. Go for a long walk.

5. Go sledding!!!!!

6. Pull my kid in a sled.

7. Make a snow creature (am thinking loch ness monster)

8. Shovel my driveway and that of my elderly neighbor.

I hesitate to answer because "it's the thought that counts" however;

1. Some homemade baked goods from a co-worker who I know lives in a filthy, dirty home.

2. A bottle of gosh awful smelling perfume (that is the kind of gift where you really need to know the recipient.)

3. Any of the religious based self-improvement books given by my mother.
