Being late for work this morning :blush:

My first San Francisco Pride! I marched in the Trans march on Friday evening, and Pride on Sunday, not once, but twice, first with the Bay Area Two Spirits and then the LGBT Center. Saturday night I attended a pride/my birthday party in the Castro. I am such a lucky guy!

My girl just messaged me that she took the day off work tomorrow just for me. I am in the middle of moving and she took a day off work to help me.

Driving on this beautiful sunny day with the windows down and great music playing.

making lunch with my honey bear.....watching a movie.....pestering him for ice cream and getting it (of course!) fixing to get him moved out my way....no more 6 hour commutes and sad goodbyes... :moonstars:

I keep getting phone calls on my cell phone for some guy named Matthew. I have had this cell number for almost 2 years now and they have called him for at least 6 months relentlessly.

I repeatedly have told them to stop calling and yes, I am supposed to be on the "do not call" list.

Today I went through it with them again. For the first time, I asked: "Is this a collection agency"? She said, "No, it's the RNC". I asked, "What kind of company are you then?"

"Republican National Committee".

Lol! I told her they really were wasting their time, not only was there no Matthew but I was no Republican!

Today Tristin wore his dress. Not a huge thing as he wears it quite often but this was different. Today was the first time he kept it on when we left. Usually when he wears it he will change, completely his choice, if I say we are going somewhere. He just wasn’t quite comfortable going out in public with it. Today he just put on his sandals. I asked him a couple times if he was sure and he was. So... with a boy in a pink dress and Tinkerbell flip flops, we went.

We hit up Goodwill (finally found some teacups I liked!), Lowe’s and Target. I kept a look out for how people reacted to him, just so if he noticed I could talk with him about it later. There were some curious looks but nothing major. Most people were looking at my hair anyway. The only negative reaction I saw was actually a surprising one. A young girl maybe nine years old gave him a dirty look as we were walking out of Target. Tristin didn’t notice since he was talking about his new Hello Kitty flip brush/mirror.

I know there will be a day when he will notice how some people treat those who are “different” but I’m glad that for now he took a big step for himself and the world as he knows it is alright.See more

What a great story.. someday I hope more people are like that. I have to say when I was little, aside from being under the age where I could not dress myself, my mother always let me dress like a tomboy. She never pushed little girl stuff on me and for that I should really thank her and I will.

Getting out of school and being ON VACATION!!!!

I will be missing a week of school, as I am in just one class right now all is good since my instructor likes me and gave me just reading to do, just two chapters in a subject I find interesting. I think I saved the whole class from getting a quiz next week because I will be gone... :/

But who cares! I AM ON VACATION!
