school
I went to the same school I mentioned last week (last week?). Had more of a chat with Mr 8 Year Old. Amongst a variety of topics, he wanted to know if people from England are English and people from Malaysia are Malaysian, then what are people from New Zealand? That's pretty damn sophisticated! :)
Observed the two teachers - their lessons were pretty awful actually. But, we had FANTASTIC post-observation discussions which were very productive including telling them that they have homework - that they need to read out to themselves or to each other the strengths they have as teachers because they were so uncomfortable self-validating themselves. Anyway, I have a specific follow-up plan with both of them which I think is achievable. I felt like I actually knew what I was doing and did it well. :) Roll on the full-day workshop tomorrow. I think I'm going to head off to bed very shortly ... zzzzzzz |
That I did not throw my alarm, which sounds like a rooster, at the wall when it went off a hour ago.
Realizing that it has been a month today since she saw All of me. The day just began so I am sure there are many other smile yet to come. |
Two things made me smile today:
1) Getting a message on yahoo early this morning from my Daddy, telling me that He missed me! He knows i missed Him too, because i always do :heartbeat: 2) seeing one of my dearest friends, Alix, so happy and confident in things ~ makes me happy to see that :D |

Today the kid told me that he absolutely LOVES Guy and has never seen me this happy, and therefore we have his blessing.

Christmas in July for my sweetie with all of the Radio Shack electrical things!
I couldn't tell you what they are (even though she explained it all to me) that my butch is going to build some electrical stuff with. All I remember is a multimeter, switches, LED lights, a big electrical thing with knobs, plus other stuff. My eyes began to glaze and my brain shut down :seeingstars: but she is happy so that is all that matters. :) |
I am gainfully employed again...
While that in its self is cause for smiling... The fact that after next week I don't ever have to mop up a urine puddle or scrub a public bathroom again makes me smile hella big time.. |
- Hiking through the trails, time on the beach, toes in the sand, enjoying a beautiful day of sunshine, meditation by the lake, reading under a tree, discovering new man-made trails and following them to see what i find..
- Training with the Running Room tonight & running my first 5k... i have been happy dancing all friggin' night! - Pushing my boundaries today.. Wearing a tank top, despite loose skin on my arms from weight loss.. Running with trained people, in a group and in public.. Going to the beach and people watching, rather than isolating myself because that always feels like the more comfortable thing to do.. Working my recovery & climbing out of the funk and rockin' this day despite the hard emotions and feelings within! - loving messages from Daddy.. SO makes me happy.. He always makes this girl smile, right down to the tips of my cute painted toes...(even when He's kicking my ass and not coddling me..) ♥ Knowing it's always exactly what i need.. |

Seeing my honey bear after nearly 2 days without seeing him.....
Having him surprise me by taking me to my favorite book store! Getting a book at said bookstore.... The weather being sooo much better.... Hiking that will ensue due to the improved weather! :moonstars: |

Getting to see her after not seeing her for a couple of days Talking and planning with my girl about our life seeing that we both are on the same page about things Watching Bud the cat chase a fly that is almost as big as him Knowing I will wake up with my baby in my arms in the morning really makes me smile big time Knowing that I have a good job |

watching Phoebe race around the yard this morning then Gracie chasing her, they run all over then Phoebe comes vaulting on the deck to me just to give me a wet slopy kiss before going back to play. Dinally getting them back inside and back in their bed so I can go up and snuggle with my beautiful wife and drift off to sleep with her in my arms

Many things today even though it was a ruff day made me smile.
My first visit to BFP and finding the private reps left by my friends I have some of the coolest friends on here. The first text from my girl when she woke up and all of them since. A stranger coming up to me and asking for directions while I walking downtown.The stranger actually said "thank you" even, I guess not all is hopeless. The biggest smile came though when I received an unexpected email from my last instructor. She just wanted to tell me to put her on my list of instructors willing to write a reference for me to any future school, internship, or job. To get that type of recognition means more then any GPA could to me. There will be at least one smile for me still today, when I say good night to the sweetest woman I could be so lucky to have in my life. |
My four pound Chihuahua, Mini, danced in a circle when I offered her a piece of chicken.

~ Going out with my parents and sister, a rare night out with the family ~ Seeing two cousins and my aunt for the first time in a few years, celebrating one of my cousin's engagements and his 40th birthday (old fart that he is LOL kidding!) ~ Having 4 rye and cokes, getting just abit tipsy but not alot :p ~ Coming back home and getting an awesome PM here at the Planet ~ Getting officially *REGISTERED* for Little Rock in September :D |
Spending time at the old shop with Pops...I repaired a rug while he kept me company; just like the old days when we worked togehter. I love that I can spend time with him like that and not take stress home any more.
He loves talking about the geese on his pond and telling me about how the Royals did last night....though I already knew from the news; I just let him get all excited talking about the plays. He is like a kid sometimes. I love my dad...that time with him today really made me happy! |
Playing with my friend's chickens, and grabbing fresh eggs right from the nesting boxes. I miss my girls. Seeing the kitty, Gabby, that I gave to my friend and getting lots of vocal and rubbing love from both her and Audrey (his tuxedo kitty). Watching my boys behave themselves with the visiting dog, Bambino. Waking my sweet Butch from slumber. :)
