Not feeling like a slug.
New friends. An hour and almost $100 spent in Barnes & Noble. Coming in to a clean workplace even though I'm still slightly annoyed that our internet is down. Godiva chocolates. Compliments from strangers. All in all, a lot has made me smile today. :) |
Yesterday.
Seeing My niece today and getting a big hug from her.. and hearing her tell Me that she has missed Me. Then she proceeded to give Me her new email address and made Me promise to write every day.

I don't usually believe in "good signs" or "bad signs", random "Omens" w/o a very good reason, but today was just....Crammed with bad feeling...The breaking point was when I arrived at the Hospital and suddenly remembered a previous bad experience in the same place...
On top of that, Registry lady insisted I still do Surgery after dropping a bomb on me about co-pay. There's no way I could afford a 1,000 ${U.S.D} co-pay, she kept saying "do the surgery deal with co-pay later" fuck you, it's my credit, my bill, my debt..... We got in touch with my Insurance, and while my Mother fought with them, I kept staring at a bunch of papers on the Volunteer desk, for those wishing to Request prayers.. My insurance demanded to speak with me, regardless of the fact my hearing aids aren't compatible with her phone or that I'm Deaf... All this just ....Hit me like ice water, and I said "No, we're not doing this today." All hell broke lose, the only fucking thing everyone didnt do was haul the damned Hospital Admin. to coerce me to change my mind.... All their "Efforts" did was cement my decision. They even brought a Sign Language Interpreter, to make sure I understood, I explained exactly how I felt to her and she agreed with me while the Surgeon, secretary, RN, Register and my mother stood by asking what we were signing, she would raise her hand to tell 'em to wait. When I got home, the well-wishes, support, and encouragement was overwhelmingly uplifting and much needed,, It made me smile, and I realized I truly did make the right move. And yeah it's going to be rescheduled, and the Surgeon was rather sympathetic. Again, thank you, with all My heart.... :praying: :) |

Was gorgeous outside and the Smokey Mountains were...smokey. Wrapped it up with a orange cream slushy....fun!!!! |
