Just received a letter this morning confirming that I've made it through to Year 2 of my degree course, no re-takes required!

Feeling on top of the world! It is Friday. I leave work at noon for physical therapy appointment. And I found the best cant tool at the farmers store. Makes rolling logs a stroll in the park. It will not hurt my back. It is all about leverage. Brute strength does not come into play. I am so proud of it. Solid steel handle too. :)

Like I did not get enough sleep. Time for some expresso.

But...

I.just remembered I'm getting a kayak today. My first ever....so I'm a pretty happy (albeit sleepy) girl!

The most tired I've felt in a very long while, but I can't sleep. My son is coming over to check out the computer and bring me a cable and uninstall reinstall something. The good news is he and his girlfriend are heading out of town early this afternoon so he should be here soon in order to leave enough time for them to get ready for their trip. I should make some coffee.

I am wiped out.
My cousin and I worked out in the heat yesterday at mom's. I have a slight case of heat exhaustion.

I am taking this afternoon and tomorrow off then back at it on Sunday.

Ecstatic.

Just sold my couch and got rid of some plastic storage boxes, an old mirror, and a giant bag of clothes! WEEEE!!

Tired and happy. Smiling is good for the soul.

Better. Yesterday I tripped, ran into the door, and got a big hickey on my head. This morning I went to Urgent Care (after my honey gave me a hard time) and Urgent Care suggested I go to the emergency room for a CAT scan. I went to the ER and was in and out in less than 2.5 hours! Yeah, baby!

I got a CAT scan on my head and all is seemingly well.

Also, it’s not crazy hot outside and it’s pleasant inside with the fans on.

Yep, things could be worse.

I slept plenty of hours and really good ...
and woke up tired! I know it is the heat outdoors.

Must get moving! It will be daylight in less than an hour and have several things I really want to accomplish today.

I feel happy and just a bit tired- but that will leave me soon- the tired, not the happy.

Like I have a hangover and I haven't even had so much as a Tylenol and I don't drink.

I feel the stars are aligned for us. Closed on our home in Saint. Louis a couple of days ago, ( it was only on the market for 24 hours! ) Now, to get our home ready for sale in Chicago and looking at property in Florida before the snow flies.

And the proverbial icing on the cake? A lesbian married couple bought the home. I left them a gourmet cheese platter in the fridge and a card welcoming them to their new home and shared some stories.

I am living the dream.
