I posted this picture of the porcelain cookie jar elsewhere, but we had this exact cookie jar at home, when I was just a young girl. It's a Shawnee Winnie-the-Pig collectible from the 1950s Era. I remember baking cookies for our family and putting them in Miss Piggy, long before Sesame Street ever aired on television.

Cookies at Homoe's family didn't last long enough to end up in a cookie jar!

Not vintage, but modern twist on vintage I like - want, want , want now that I have a grandbaby.

Our family did as well except the hood was floral and the case red! No doubt my very femme sister had picked it out.

Sidebar: Not that I ever wore nail polish but if memory serves me correctly wasn't there like a area where air came out and one could use it to dry their freshly polished nail?

I don't remember the exact name of this, but I remember the day my mother got one.
