Today I made the best filet mignon....omg melt in your mouth. I seared it in olive oil and butter then sliced and finished it off. With it I made a veggie blend of green beans, yellow wax beans, orange and yellow carrots and roasted red peppers. A truly amazing meal.

I had white beans and bread.

Hot dogs with mustard, ketchup, relish, onions and cheese. Chocolate cake for dessert, this was a way late lunch semi dinner.

I am having angel hair pasta with zucchini, tomatoes, corn, black olives, and sausage tossed in butter and olive oil and parmigiano cheese.

I picked up a Monterrey with no meat. It's a struggle for some to understand that no meat really means no meat.

I had a Lean Pocket, lime jello, a clementine and a kiwi.

Had a Half of a roasted Turkey with avocado and tomatoe, with a half Thai chicken salad from Panera, couldn't finish them I am stuffed.

I hit the buffet at our favorite vegan restaurant. Curried garbanzo soup, veggie, no cheese pizza, veggies and an oatmeal craisin cookie.

Yesterday for lunch I made some homemade beef vegetable soup: a previously roasted beef roast, carrots, celery, onions, bell peppers, string beans, potatoes, corn, peas, garlic, salt, pepper, bay leaf. I left it simmer on the stove for the morning. Today, we had leftovers with garlic Texas toast

I had chicken fajita strips, mashed potatoes, green beans and red velvet cake.

Leftover - shepard's pie made with ground beef, fresh green/purple beans, fresh carrots, onions, rosemary, tomato paste, beef stock, zucchini, mushrooms and topped with mashed potatoes.

A very nice Italian sandwich that would have benefitted from fewer hunks of spicy eggplant.

a wonderful salad full of mixed greens, cucumber, sunflower sprouts, sunflower seeds, leftover lemon chicken, carrots and a homemade vinaigrette.

I'm having a very nice Clamato Caesar.... I think it covers all the food groups.

Todays lunch was stuffed pork chops; mac and cheese made with extra sharp cheddar; and roasted string beans, broccoli, onions, and garlic.

Salad again-- but sort leftovers from yesterday's dinner. I used the rest of the greens, sunflower sprouts, and chicken topped off with a fried egg, some cubed cheddar, bacon leftover from breakfast, some blueberries and a simple mustard vinaigrette.

It's to hot to cook so I had a large glass of regular V8 juice with a simple salad.
