Gemme 02-26-2021 08:35 PM

For the past couple of weeks, it's been 4-6 hours per night, which is not good for me. I'm a solid 7-8 hours kind of person.

Orema 03-02-2021 05:22 AM

6 hours without melatonin.

GeorgiaMa'am 03-02-2021 02:57 PM

About 9 hours, but broken up by 3 different times of waking up to an alarm to take medications.

MrSunshine 03-02-2021 03:09 PM

Hour on hour up ugh. I wish I slept like a normal person.

PlatinumPearl 03-02-2021 05:06 PM

Sleep...

I slept 6 hours.

Stone-Butch 03-04-2021 07:04 AM

Hours of sleep

None yet but had some yesterday.

GeorgiaMa'am 03-04-2021 06:41 PM

Zero. Here's to hoping tonight will be better.

Stone-Butch 03-04-2021 10:03 PM

Sleep

Finally got to sleep around 7 and slept till 2 pm.

Orema 03-05-2021 06:15 AM

7.5 hours. Very good. Woke up a few times but was able to go back to sleep easily. Didn’t use melatonin but I did hit the vape thingy before going to sleep.

GeorgiaMa'am 03-05-2021 06:50 PM

Maybe three hours total, interrupted multiple times.

Orema 03-10-2021 05:26 AM

6 or 7 hours with lots of tossing and turning.

GeorgiaMa'am 03-11-2021 01:04 AM

According to my new-fangled CPAP machine that sends a "sleep report" to my phone each morning, I slept 7.42 hours, with 0.6 "events" per hour (an event is something that interrupts sleep, like waking up coughing), and taking my mask off (to get up to go to the restroom or whatever) 4 times. I scored 98 out of 100 for perfect sleep (I lost 2 points due to the "events").

I have no idea. What I do know though is that it was not any number of solid hours worth. I cannot remember the last time I slept peacefully and for a good length of time. I am sure I will get there again at some point.

GeorgiaMa'am 03-11-2021 03:22 PM

9 hours and 58 minutes, according to my new CPAP. It's a winner!

FireSignFemme 03-11-2021 09:23 PM

None last night and just two this morning but I must not have needed it because it's just past 7PM and I'm feeling great.

Orema 03-16-2021 05:18 AM

Seven. Woke up midway and watched a couple episodes of United States of Tara. I don’t mind waking up for awhile as long as I can fall back asleep.

GeorgiaMa'am 03-17-2021 08:44 AM

7 hours and 27 minutes. And I scored a 100 for the first time on my CPAP app thingy!

FireSignFemme 03-17-2021 03:04 PM

Only about four. I'm forcing myself to stay awake so hopefully tonight I can get back on track, or at least part way there.

Gemme 03-18-2021 06:30 PM

Five hours again. It's great. Really.

I see your 5 and match it...*grumbles about annoying dogs and their excretory systems*

Blade 03-19-2021 07:26 PM

I really don't know but my feet hit the floor at 4:01 and are supposed to hit the floor at 3:15

Oh no! Well, that beats my 5. Any kind of pet clean up is good to exchange for an hour.

Annnnd, it was another 5 hour night. Saturday is my early day to get up but I can never get to bed at a decent hour to get sufficient sleep.

Orema 03-20-2021 10:57 PM

Seven with a little help of melatonin.

FireSignFemme 03-22-2021 11:37 PM

A solid 8 thanks to Ambien. Never would have made it to bed, fallen asleep without it.

espressolover83 03-22-2021 11:42 PM

6hrs - I would be happy to get 8hrs again. Can't wait for the weekend so I can sleep in.

You've got that right. That stuff is wonderful. Although it doesn't seem to be working too well for me tonight. So far I've had a fitful 3 hours, and will lie back down in 10 minutes and try again.

Orema 05-11-2021 05:11 AM

Seven hours and could have slept longer.

GeorgiaMa'am 05-11-2021 08:30 PM

13.13 hours. It was the night and day after chemo, so all I wanted to do was sleep, but I also kept having to wake up every few hours to take meds.

Stone-Butch 05-11-2021 10:23 PM

Hours of sleep

Last night? None. I am on a switch about through no choice of my own and am sleeping most of the days and up all night. My most busy time is around 3 or 4 a.m.

Orema 05-13-2021 04:03 AM

Eight with a little help from melatonin. Woke up midway and watched a few minutes of m’boy Horatio and then back to sleep for couple hours.

Orema 05-20-2021 04:12 AM

Eight with some melatonin. Woke up a lot but was able to easily fall back asleep.

Stone-Butch 05-20-2021 05:57 AM

Hours of sleep

8 a.m. none since yesterday. This has to stop.

Gemme 05-20-2021 09:56 AM

I don't know exactly. I set the alarm for 8 hours, had a bathroom break in the middle and woke before the alarm and lounged in bed but I didn't check the time so maybe 7 hours? I feel good, so it is definitely more than 6, which is my average lately.

GeorgiaMa'am 05-21-2021 09:54 AM

Ten last night, which is more normal for me, maybe even a little on the light side. I have been sleeping 15 hour days for the last week and a half trying to sleep off the chemo.

Stone-Butch 05-21-2021 01:11 PM

Hours of sleep

For the first night in almost 2 weeks I slept for 7 night hours. I got up at 8 a.m. and am feeling just dandy. I hope this keeps up. I get to see the sun.

Gemme 05-21-2021 08:24 PM

Good for you, Stone!

I got 4 and change.

Stone-Butch 05-21-2021 09:09 PM

Hours of sleep

Gemme I would love to get by on 4 hours but I think not having proper sleep in the last couple weeks could have given me 7. I am just glad I got it.

By the way, may I suggest your cat might have an allergy with those problems its having. Sometimes it can be one flea bite and the entire animal can get dermatitis over its entire body. A vet can check it out and if that is the problem you can get an allergy shot for itch and also a shot for fleas to keep them off. Just thought I would put in my 2 cents worth.

No fleas. She's having a reaction to either a food or litter change. I change both every few months for one reason or another but never at the same time until now and I think that's what did it. She's had steroids and antibiotics so I'm watching her for the next couple of weeks to see if there's a difference.

For thread compliance, I got almost 5 last night. I'll get more tonight.

GeorgiaMa'am 05-23-2021 02:56 PM

12.5 - I went to bed around 6:30 pm.

Gemme 05-23-2021 05:51 PM

I got almost 7 hours last night!
