Hanging with Frank, I needed that... knowing someone enjoys my company.

The best puppy dog in THE WHOLE WORLD and the best little brother in THE WHOLE WORLD visiting. And the beautiful day it was eventhough i had to work. It was beautiful outside today and i got to enjoy some of it. And all the birds i saw and heard. And all the vinyl i scored for my little bro...abba and kc and sunshine band and sinatra...so many. Awesome.

Friendships, old and new: meeting some folks last night (from BFP!) who are now new friends, and reconnecting today with two friends I haven't seen in several years, who I've known for 24 and 28 years.

Not only did I have a wonderful conversation with my brother about his good news and he sent me pictures of my beautiful nieces, told me about my little tomboy who wrestled against boys and won her last 5 matches then went on to semi-state and wants to play football next year but is now a cheerleader of the same high school my mom graduated from... I got invited to his wedding next year and told I have a new little niece!!

I didn't get to watch my brother grow up, but I sure love being a part of his family now. My heart couldn't be more happy!! and my face hurts from smiling so much at their pictures!

A different kind of start to my morning...

Joy Today
 

My daughter just recently lost her job, and I knew she wasn't going to be able to pay her cell phone bill, so I told her I would make a trade with her, she could clean the house and I would pay her cell bill.
She cleaned it - half the house one day and the rest of the house yesterday -
I tried to call her when I got home to tell her what a fabulous job she had done, but couldn't get her, so first thing this morning I woke up, gave her a and told her thank you and she asked me, "Mom, did you check your bedroom closet."
And I hadn't, so I opened the door - she had completely reorganized all my clothes, matching all colors, blouses, dresses, skirts, and pants, long sleeves to short - It was soooooo cool!!
I laughed and she laughed and we shared a moment of pure sweet joy with one another.
I love her!!!

Working fewer than 12 hours.

someone listened to my story and said "love is always worth the price of pain. now you just have to decide whether you're strong enough to pay it."

i said, "i suppose being strong is a choice everyone can make if they want to."

she said, "isn't it always?"

i decided she was right on both counts

my instructor (finally) telling me that my Teaching Program is done and i will be getting my Certificate soon!

Being home with the windows open, candles burning, Nicki Minaj blaring through the Bose, clothes washing.

Puttering around our nest with a huge smile on my face because alllllla this is mine!

Shutting down my work computer! Enjoying the commute on the Blue Ridge Pkwy with all the colors...breathtaking.....a chiroprctor appointment...ahhhh...& now relaxing & reading posts...till something else comes up that I want to do....& planning my weekend YAY...a full one with friends, & good times, & a festival, & breakfast with friends, & tmr night going out to hear my friend's band play...yep....that's ALL bringing me joy....Happy Friday to ALL !!!!!
