Turning 50 today, hey I feel the same as I did yesterday. Well that wasn't so bad. Having dinner tonight with some friends and family. :king:

What made me smile today...
Getting in from work after midnight and having a rather Ha Ha chatter conversation with my girl before I had to crash... "That's my chicken!" :) |
Finding out my daughter got a job she interviewed for......:hangloose:
Getting a real steal on the paint for the new place...it pays to know people! Counting down to sleeping with Teddy EVERY night.....(f) Still smiling about the Pats game........every day life will just pale in comparison now...lol Feeling purty dandy today even though I'm one day off the stupid steroid.... How happy Bud is to see me this morning...... :) |

Listening to the HUGE bullfrog outside...it lives in the pond near my apartment...i am reminded of the little scene i witnessed yesterday when coming home from errands...while crossing the little foot bridge to my building that crazy frog was loudly croaking away...i looked over at the pond and noticed a Blue Heron standing motionless in the brush along the bank...obviously intent on the frog when suddenly the frog jumped into the pond...i imagine it was thinking "No, I din't think so! Not this time!". Somehow i doubt the heron's thoughts were similar...lol

Going to a yard sale before work and scoring some awesome books (8 for just a DOLLAR!! )
Finally buying us a juicer....at said yard sale....brand new too! The drought being Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over....... Knowing that tonight when I go home I'm going to soak in the tub and pamper my feets some....I have some sparkly silver polish that Im DYING to see on my tootsies... :P Knowing that theres plenty of sandal wearing weather left to show off said tootsies!! :) Looking through my stuff today in preparation for moving....and finding my cute boots that I completely forgot about buying :| Being another day closer to OUR HOME.... :moonstars: |

Actually late yesterday afternnon...on the phone - looked in my back yard...a huge Doe is having a buffet in my garden and grape vines. I love nature!
Funnier - I'm inside my house - I start whispering...even funnier - the person on the phone, several hundred miles away, starts whispering.... |
Mimi as always... She wanted to give the dogs treats. Their is a HUGE container of PUPCORN.. she is allowed to give the pups treats. So I hand her two, she calls the dogs and give one to Butchy and holds one out to Henry, but she doesn't let go of it. She let's him take a bite then takes a bite herself of the Pupcorn. She then rubs her tummy and says *yummy* and hands the rest the treat to Henry... It was so cute... She just makes my heart smile...

Fruitcake was so excited to see me when I came home from work tonight. He was bouncing around and it just made me forget about work annoyances .:junesmiley:

Getting the sweetest card in the mail from my BBFF and feeling so blessed with our friendship :) Hearing the news from a friend that has been struggling with infertility for years now... finding out that she is pregnant!!!! Planning a girls getaway for this Saturday! |

Today I am still smiling.....at what I saw yesterday.....those 14 wondrous, magnificent dolphins at my special beach I go sit and lose myself at.......those sweet mammals always bring me such solace and comfort....smiles...so I am still smiling...today...and tomorrow.....

Spoilt puppy much?
My dog sits on the landing and comes racing down once the biscuits hit her bowl. The cutest thing though was her lying there, paws neatly in front and watching my very carefully as I organise her medicine - because the medicine comes embedded in a spoonful of canned food.

During a horribly stressful day at work, I got the call that Honor was colicky. Not much I could do but to wait for an update...Came home between job #1 and job #2 to find that the crisis was averted and Honor apparently cleared the colic on his own. Touch and go when you are a cribber and you're pushing 20. Note to Maureen...Make Honor fart more. Not having to call a vet, or console my kid made me smile (with relief) today.

Seeing the new place coming together....Teddy worked so hard painting the kitchen and living room. My littlest one helped a lot too....its really coming together nicely and we are SO happy with how it looks!! :)

- how everything just comes together with such ease.. - a wonderful get together here on the porch last night, with friends..i had an absolute blast, and love getting to know everyone here & a golf cart ride which had me in fits of laughter .. Posting the pix on facebook, and SO many more to post.. soon, very soon... - helping Daddy at the restaurant today, and love fitting in, there, here & everywhere..Love interacting with customers, and saw the sweetest little 2 year old girl with two blonde pigtails standing up straight on her head, and when she smiled at me i melted, she wanted to share her french fry with me, lol. - seeing two baby deer, and catching a frog tonight on the way home from the restaurant with Daddy... - feeling extremely accomplished today, so much done around this cabin, and knowing i'm home, <3 the best feeling in the world. |

What made me smile today is the FACT this is the LAST nite I will be sleeping alone. We move into the new place friday and I will be there when my baby girl comes home from work.
Im also smiling cuz we are blessed. We both are camping fools and scored a pop up so cheap I feel we STOLE it Waking with her in my arms this morning knowing that soon it would be a daily thing and one i am so looking forward too and KNOW the value of . Knowing that our lives are coming together as one it may not be as fast as we want but it is happening and its teaching us that in time we will get what we want Smiling just cause loving her makes me smile like I havent a care in the world |
Driving my visiting friend out in the fields on Daddi's ATV. OMG i never heard so many AAAIIIIEEEEE's and SLOW DOWNs in my life. It was priceless!

Getting the news that I do not have to withdraw from school yet that I can take until the middle of October to figure things out.
Getting things accomplished:Four applications in,Two Dr appointments made, Remembering to cancel the sleep study I forgot was scheduled for tonight, making the decisions that needed ti be made Keeping My word to a friend by being there when she needed someone to listen to her and understand her difficulties with her son. Staying in control of My emotions and not causing someone any more stress during a difficult time for her. Keeping My word to Myself and continuing My journey by being true to who I am |
