This is the original by Betty Hutton and it deserves that boundless-jump swing-40s be-bob jive energy of hers. This is classic, and it's in my personal collection as a favorite from 1940s novelty tunes in line with The Hucklebuck, Freddie Martin's Hut Sut Song, Old Buttermilk Sky, Ac-cent-uate-The Positive, Corns for My Country, Mairzy Dotes, and Tess' Torch Song to name a few.
