The Most Evil Women
And I don't remember who wrote it. It's a compilation of evil women ranging from ancient Rome (Messalina) to more modern day (Audrey Marie Hilley).

American Gods by Neil Gaiman

It may be an older book of his, but it does turn the whole idea of religion on its head.

I am currently reading Wench: A Novel by Dolen Perkins-Valdez. Its a story of four slave women who travel to spend the summer with their masters at a vacation resort in Ohio (set in the 1850's). I just started it and am already struggling to put it down!

I just finished The King of Lies by John Hart. A good read - especially for those familiar with small towns in NC!
