It appeared to be running slow earlier but seems to be ok now.

We are watching Julie and Julia, Harry Potter (even though I have seen none of them to this point), and Sunshine Cleaning. All while eating pizza and snuggling on the bed together. I can't wait till this flood mess and ceiling collapse mess are over with! I want to put up a Christmas tree.

Last night, I dreamt that Someone proposed to me......it was sweet and lovely and tender, but for the life of me, I do NOT know how He got down on His knee on the floorboard of the car......
I said 'Yes', of course, but I woke up before I saw the ring..... That's just cruel. :drool: |
AZ and Eddie, the site has been running slow for me as well, especially after I was in chat for a bit this morning.

My gf and I, standing at the kitchen door of our apt, looking out to see what the morning's weather is like. Watched a 9 year old boy on a bicycle ride by and smack the side mirror on my gf's truck (her baby). Opened the door and asked the boy nicely to please not do that anymore.
boy: "you're tripping dude, I didn't touch your truck" my gf: "we were standing right here watching you" boy: "wasn't me" (he is currently the only child outside) Boy goes upstairs. Boy's father walks by, gf asks him nicely to ask the son not to do it again. Father is very nice and thanks us for letting him know. Father goes upstairs to talk to the boy. Father then leaves for work. A few minutes later, our screen door is ripped open, breaking the latch, loud knocking on the door. Open door, there is boy. Boy's mother is standing off to the side, a few feet away. boy: "can you show me how I supposedly hit your truck?" gf: "we watched you ride your bike by and hit the mirror" boy: "is it hurt?" gf: "no, i think it's ok" boy: "then what are you making such a big deal out of it for?!" boy's mother: "get your bike and get upstairs NOW!" Boy fusses as he walks upstairs. Mother doesn't say a word to us. We stand there in open-mouthed shock at the audacity of this little kid. My gf now checks the windows repeatedly because she's afraid the boy will do something to her truck in revenge for her tattling on him. I just can't believe the boy has that much attitude, or that neither he nor his mom even apologized for him breaking our door. Even my 11 year old son was shocked by the boy's bad behavior, and said "well, we know Santa won't be visiting him this year." lol |
70 years ago tonight, the epic film "Gone With The Wind" premiered in Atlanta....... evidently, there was a children's choir who sang at that premier....and one of the choir members was 10~year~old Martin Luther King, Jr. <smile>
