Malls, Interstate highways (all secondary roads), stores open for business. The entire Main Street (for several blocks) is boarded up. You go much further down Main and there's Wal-Mart doing a bustling business.
No malls or movie (let alone theater) houses or interstate hwys. or God forbid, a university. Maybe a bookstore? Or someone with education beyond undergraduate or a major other than Agriculture. No out LGBTQ folks besides us. I walk around here with my moustache and short hair. And Sue...oh, God...She couldn't pass for anything other than Butch, Dominant, Dyke, and in charge of any situation we might find ourselves in. Guess what I really miss is being in a city. |
