That's one hell of a drive.
When we drove up to Oregon from Texas it was here to alberquerque (12 hours) then we slept. Then Albequerque to Salt lake city, utah (10 hours) then we slept Then Salt lake to portland (10 hours) then we slept for days. That is crazy that she's planning to do it all in one stretch!!!! |
I just got off the phone with the Gemmester.....she's in CO....she thinks she'll be here tomorrow afternoon.

Well....Gemmie managed to drive through Mormon country....the mountains...and even Oklahoma, but she managed to get lost about 5 minutes from my house!
The towels are laid out for her....I'm going to make her a brisket sandwich and she will be clean and fed (and not so cranky....we can't have that!). So she's about to be led to Chez Diva...and here she IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Well Gemme must have been a lady with a plan (and a lead foot)! I'm glad that she has made it safely to her new home of Austin.

She's going to be driving up in the Ash~Van and they are leaving shortly (giving her enough time to have a bite to eat and a shower), so she can sleep going up.
