Working weekend! :jester::jester:

So far I’ve made a batch of banana pudding and done some laundry and cleaning while listening and singing along to gospel. :D

Now that the sun is peeking out, I'm heading out for a visit with my parents to trade the banana pudding for some of the fruits (and veggies) of my dad’s labor.

So far today I've washed clothes, chatted with my Brother off and on about his lovelife crisis, talked to the Mister, made some food, cleaned the kitchen, and offloaded 70g of data from my very full Macbook.

Now to move another 100g or so to an external hard drive, gather some information for my attorney, clean the bathrooms, and gather up some stuff to take to donate later today.

Playing the "Lemonade" album by Queen Beyonce and burning my favorite incense. I love days like today where I can just do my chores and relish in my joy. <3

Well today I did the following: dust mopped and wet mopped all floors, did 2 loads of laundry & hung out on the line until it started raining, rushed one of my special needs dogs to the vet after his seizure and fall, helped spouse shower, poured her meds for the week, called handyman and arranged for he & his wife to come out this evening, cleaned bathrooms, showered. :fastdraq:

I've been made redundant, I finish at the end of August after 12 years with my employers, so -

-Finding my CV and getting it updated. Next week I hit the agencies.
-contacting the gym to tell them that yes I WILL be able to afford that 3-month programme to boost my fitness and health (and hopefully give me a better chance at passing the roller derby min skills list) that I wasn't sure I'd be able to afford
- starting to look at what jobs are out there that don't involve being stuck behind a desk looking at wretched computer screens all day
- thinking about getting a few new clothes - I want to look stylish for potential dates!
- dear Goddess, I'll be able to afford a decent pair of boots that actually fit! BIG WIN!
- planning a serious declutter of my flat.
- planning to vist work colleagues I got on well with in Glasgow and London.
- buying a new notebook for poetry writing, as my current one is nearly full.
- maybe treat myself to a nice pen.
- get a nice bunch of flowers for my vase.
- booking a visit to the podiatrist as a treat.

Cleaning, painting, assembling, walk the dogs, feed the animals, mow & snipper the lawn, weed the garden, prune a few wild tree's, hose the back patio off, wash down the windows & screens & try to breathe in between lol

– do a bit of house cleaning
– get the car washed
– grocery shopping
– shop for silly birthday gifts
– get something nice for myself

Got up early to putter around the house and clean and organize things that need cleaning and organizing- 3/4 done with that so far.

Next up:

Grocery shopping.
Soup making.
Taking care of sick kid with ouchy ear infection.
Date night.

Woke up early @ 0530 hrs
Made a cup of tea
Took dogs outside
Let caT in (she was hungry)

Watching morning news :(

Going to my duplex continue garbage /trash/junk clean up and start cleaning-prep for painting and start tear out of carpet in both bedrooms.

Not a damn thing!

Fire, if I were more handy with 'stuff' I'd offer to help but I fear I'd be more trouble than what I would be worth! Me with a paintbrush, a horrible thing to witness!

Or Ice..... but my BFF is doing the driving. Still, wise advice, I dare say. :giggle:

Work, but I'd really like to play hooky today. We'll see.

yes! Me too! Girls kick ass! When I get home I'm going to make a new kind of lasagna. It has chicken, spinach, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and of course lasagna noodles.

Strip the bed and put on the new sheets and comforter (and pretty pillows)

change the catbox

wash a bunch of stuff that my honey got

decide where pictures are going so they can be hung up

Tidy up the kitchen and clean out the fridge for trash day (Friday...I have to remember that)

organize the dining room

Laundry, hang out on clothesline, more yard work, some Pilates on the deck, maybe clean bathrooms.

Survive the experience.
