Haha! I like saying "you guys" too. It comes naturally for me. I grew up mostly in Queens, NY and everyone says it. Also, my girlfriend is from Mass and we are moving there mid 2014 so I suppose I will fit right in.

I am happy to not be alone in this. I, too, have had people flip over it. I lived in NC and GA for a while and people kept telling me it was disrespectful. To me, it is a term of endearment.
