I just started a book called Into the Blue by Robert Goddard. I bought it at a second hand book sale and its been sitting in the closet for months. It has to be one of the best mystery books I have read in a long time.

What am I reading..hmmmm....
I read anything that I can get my hands on... Right now I am reading:
Wives of Service...author?? (on my Nook) To The Nines... Janet Evonavich (on CD in my car) Trauma Alert... Radclyffe (book) Femme Noir ...Clara Nipper (E-book on my computer) All About My Brother: An Eight Year Old's Introduction To Her Brother Who Has Autism (Children's book for work and my nephew) |
I've been reading Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Stories on the subway the last week and a half or so. Finished The Pale Horseman, Lords of the North and Sword Song, just started The Burning Land today. All of the books have been great so far and I hope Cornwell publishes a new one soon since he's said there will probably be 7 or 8 books in the series total.
Anyways, definitely recommend these to fans of historical fiction, particularly about early Germanic history. Or if you're already a Bernard Cornwell fan in general :D |
Im reading my notes and flash cards prepping for my psychology final..fun fun fun :readfineprint:

I'm still reading Bernard Cornwell's The Burning Land, since I started reading some other stuff too. Also reading The Testosterone Files and all I can say is: finally! I'm not a fan of ordering books off the net, so it took me forever to actually find this in stores...and at a Chapters at that  Everytime I went to the Women's Bookstore (guess I could have ordered it from them, but I'm simple minded like that sometimes) to see if they had it they were out for like the last year :( The third I'm reading is Parrotfish by Ellen Wittlinger. Didn't realise it was a teen book when I bought it and so I'm remembering why I rarely even read teen books as a teen (usually not terribly well written), lol. But overall I think it's awesome that there is now at least one book on FtMs geared toward teens. Wish I'd had something like that to read 10 years ago. |
