Landlady sent me a letter telling me I have to be out by Aug 31st. Our contract doesn't end until the end of Sept. Have to find somewhere to live for one month.

Landlady KNOWS the job finishes end of September.

Today, I get in to the same client, and now her daughter is also asking for daily updates. :| This woman is the BFF of my boss..and my boss has said she forwards the info to the daughter...sooooooo....????

And after all THAT...I tried to text her about an extra med that was in her mom's afternoon meds....to no avail....I didn't give it and it turned out to have been a med error on the family's part. :|

I am ticked off bc I get to have my second knee replacement on my left knee .
My first knee scope was 15 , then two scopes and a reconstruction at 16 , a reconstruction which failed and a knee replacement at 17 years old . They are only good for x numbers of years and after 5 days of working two jobs and being a bad neglectful RN to myself , I saw the orthopedic surgeon today and got my CT and Xrays and was called 15 minutes ago with
" Blake do you want the good news or bad news first " ?
Well doc, what's the good news ? The good news is.... You get a long vacation and aren't working 2 jobs for many weeks !!!!
Well shit, that's actually bad news doc so what's the other bad news ?
" well its bad , to say the least , you need a whole new hardware and I will be doing a total knee replacement after a week of steroids to get the fluid down by half " .

I would not say that I was pissed but I am definitely frustrated with the lawn mower.

I charged the battery all weekend and it still did not start. I think that I will use jumper cables next weekend to start it.

It is so frustrating and the grass is mocking me.

my daughter got in my car with her new born to take him to get blood tested again and to find out someone had let the air out of all 4 of my cars tires. I'm pissed because how can someone do this when everyone knows my new grandbaby is always in my car with me just not right to put his life and ours in danger like that.

my weekly hours went from about 15 to start...up to over 50...back down to a reasonable and manageable 40...then slowly down to 30ish....then 20ish..back up to 30..now I have only 15 hours since my morning client is moving east towards Boston :(

update my resume.....STAT....sigh (and finish my courses ASAP so I can fill in the big ol stinkin' blanks in my paychecks :| )

I get to my client's house for 8am.....haven't been there in a while so I brief with the overnight girl and get caught up on what's what.

She leaves....

I check on my lady....she is DRENCHED..Like neck to knees drenched..
some of it is sweat....most of it....is not...

No one can rightly tell me that woman was checked every hour for incontinence. It really irks me to no end, especially since the night shift really has nothing to do. No meal prep, laundry gets done as needed through out the day, meds are all mornings and evening.....wtf...there's NO EXCUSE

I really try to treat each and every client the way I'd want my grandparents treated. And this was just absolute and utter abuse and neglect. And yes I reported it.

My lady was so grateful to be clean and dry and WARM...it about broke my heart. Fucking people.

Fell off my skateboard yesterday night. Couldn't find my phone all day. Today I found it, soaking wet in the spot where I fell. So its sitting in a box of rice for the next 24 hrs.

Caught my neighbor red-handed, while I was walking in the woods next to his house, putting a biggo pile of white rat poison in his backyard an hour ago, trying to kill the wildlife around here, which is highly illegal. It's his second house, and he never lived in it for the past seven years. Sooo...after the asshole left, I went right in there, and picked it all up before anyone suffered an agonizing death. I will be watching him closely from now on, and even call the po-po if I have too. GRRRRR! But Biggo Thank-You to The Benevolent GOD=DESS for putting me in the right place :)

The Govt, for their bogus fees and rules they tack on to everything to take money out of our wallets, in the name of homeland security. What a freaking joke!!!! The fingerprinting morons who only work Thurs and Fri from 8-4. The fact that I have to pay $86.50 every four years since 2002 to be fingerprinted for a background check so I can be deemed a non threat to homeland security. How many sets of fucking fingerprints do you morons need? You already have 3 sets on file. In case no one clued you idiots in, fingerprints don't change, they are the same freaking ones you already have!!!!! And on top of all that, I have to take a day off from work which means a whole day of lost wages to get fingerprinted AGAIN because the pampered princesses ( read lazy worthless overpaid POS) only work Thus. and Fri.

While I am on the subject , how many terrorist attacks do you think homeland security has been able to avert , by requiring all professional drivers to be fingerprinted and have a background check done every 4 years? Here I will take a stab in the dark on this, oh I don't know , how about a BIG FAT FUCKING ZERO, that's how many!!!!!

Really good Monday until late afternoon I phoned to get a haircut appointment. The lady who answered was so annoying, I had to take a couple of deep breaths to keep from going off on her. She was talking so fast, putting words in my mouth, I had no time to answer anything. To be honest, she reminded me of someone strung out on speed or too much A.D.D. medication ... just fucking crazy! I did finally get an appointment. I will talk to my hairdresser about this receptionist. I think this will become an interesting story. I have known my.hairdresser since 1990 when she first came into the 12-step program ... She got honest, clean and sober. :)
