A soft-sided collapsible crate for my dog. I hope to be able to travel with her. We're going to try it out first here in the house, but the first overnight trip will be to my mom's at Thanksgiving for two nights.

Holiday cards and stamps. Yes, it's terribly old fashioned, but it makes me happy. I had to get them kind of early so I would have a good selection. It's not really all that early though, I try to mail them out Thanksgiving weekend. I'm a little sad that we're not exchanging holiday cards here on BFP this year. I'm not sure, but I think this is the first year we haven't done it since I became a member.

A really cute retro mint green microwave oven.

Some serious retail therapy this week. 6 tops, 2 nightgowns and new panties. Nail polish and some lip oil.

I'm not counting the safety bars, cord cover, bed rail and walker for Mom.

I hate that you had to buy a walker when that should have been covered under her Durable Medical Equipment (DME) coverage

She already had a fancy walker that was aloted to her. She wanted the aluminum one. Got it at the thrift store, 10 bucks. She is getting some other stuff. She has come along way and doesnt need the equipment as much as PT, OT and home health. That is coming later this week.

OK, I shopped twice in two days....YIKES!! I have been craving pasta salads so I went to Hannafords and got a couple of different tubs of pasta goodness. I also picked up a couple of pre-made sammies and some frozen breakfast sandwiches. Sorry cholesterol....I'm just hungry!

A stainless steel one-gallon bucket for Brittany to drink out of. I can now reclaim my mixing bowl.

I'm going to put up a tree this year. I need a distraction. I'm also inviting a couple of friends over.

Several South Carolina lottery tickets.
They don't require you to publish your name if you win big.

Kätzchen 11-03-2022 11:39 AM

-- Groceries from Trader Joe's

-- Spend some money at the washeteria (laundry day)

-- Buy a lottery ticket

I purchased these sheets in June from Wayfair and they were delivered yesterday.

Back story: In June, Wayfair told me they ran out of these sheets and gave me a refund. Then yesterday they delivered not one, but two sets of sheets. Same color, same size, same pattern. I wrote them asking them to send me a label so I can return the extra set. She told me to keep them or give them away. I’ll give them to my grandniece. Her favorite color is blue and we have the same size bed.

Popcorn Maker

A microwave popcorn maker.

I like this very much. Just add some kernels, place it the microwave, and I can make fresh popcorn without all the salt and other stuff that’s in the microwaveable bags. So good.

Sweet feed, horse feed, cracked corn, meal worms, and adult beverages for tonight and the game tomorrow. Oh and a roll of Gorilla Tape because tomorrow I am going to "monkey" around and try to seal the slit in my washing machine's door gasket. My last resort before calling the appliance repair man.

A Groupon for a gutter cleaning.

If the Gorilla Tape doesn't work, try this before you call the repair guy. Today, I paid my rent and bought another month of keeping my crap around.

Two Cosmic Crisp apples which were almost $4.00. However, I'm really looking forward to trying them.
