Two Cosmic Crisp apples which were almost $4.00. However, I'm really looking forward to trying them.

The bags up here are $6.48 at Walmart and they have 6-7 good-sized apples in them.

But...what do you think?

The Cosmic Crisp apples are just a little sweeter and a little juicier than the Honey Crisps. But most interesting, they are a bit mellower than the Honey Crisps. They are better! But only by a little, IMHO.

I think so too. I noticed that they keep longer and aren't as sensitive to damage as Honey Crisp apples are either. I will say that I think the Honey Crisp pairs better with peanut butter and cheese (not together!) than the Cosmic Crisps. I tend to eat those solo.

For thread compliance, I paid some bills today.

- Dog medicine (yeah, I got 77 more Delta Skymiles for that one)
- milk, bread, potatoes, apples, croissants and ice cream (apples, croissants and ice cream on sale, gotta start economizing on those groceries)
- 2 Burger King regular cheeseburgers and a frozen Coke

[QUOTE=GeorgiaMa'am;1291018]- Dog medicine (yeah, I got 77 more Delta Skymiles for that one)

I recently learned that the Costco pharmacies will also fill pet prescriptions if of course they're people medicines. I knew CVS and Walgreens did. Costco pharmacies can't restrict their sales to members only; it's illegal (I think in all states) so even if you don't have a Costco member simply tell them at the door you're there for the pharmacy. What amazed me was how much lower Costco's prescriptions were versus both CVS and Walgreens. I was self-pay for a long time and the price differences were staggering in some cases.

3 Holiday-ish tops. You know the kind that don't scream Christmas. I can wear then when the weather is cooler. One is a hoodie and another is a grey thermal with white stars and the last one is retro Coke Cola white polar bears.

A combination vacuum/mop robot at a “Black Friday” sale for less than 50% off. Have wanted a robotic mop for awhile. The wi-fi was easy to set up, thank goodness, and it’s charging now. Will run it later today or tomorrow and will return it to the store if I don’t like it.

Yeah the eye drops were cheaper at Costco then the vet. My rat terrier Toby had medicine he needed for his eye at the time. I never knew that there was a vet just for eyes till my dog Toby.

I hope Toby feels better soon, Toolio.

Today I bought a steak lunch for two.

Ty....he was a dog I use to have but he only lived to 15but he had a hard life from the start and I guess you can say he was a rescue dog from the start. My mother didn't tell me but the vet didn't know if he would make it but he did and we had him for 15 years.....my mother said to me we were meant to save him. I was dealing with a lot when he got sick and had to be put down. Not many know this but I had my apendix rupture back then and I was in hospital for 16 days and was very hard on me....plus I was on wound vac even after went home and the doc didn't tell me till after all my complaining that the infection ate away at my stomach muscle and few months after first surgery I had repair. Sorry for rambling. I appreciate your kind words. I have a lot to be thankful for and I don't get why people use fake illnesses or whatever to take advantage of others. Ty to those who took the time to give me thanks for post I have made too.

I bought 6 fabric samples to figure out what fabric I'm using for a couch cover. I need something that will stand up to 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 people. It should be easy to clean, not hold on to fur, somewhat water resistant, and comfortableto sit on. We shall see if this miracle fabric exists.

Lowes to get one of those fluorescent light bulb sleeves to make this lighted pole for a holiday penguin sign ma got to go with her lighted penguin. I am gonna put pole in upside down mini thick plastic painters bucket that I drill hole in and add some 1 inch pvc pipe to hold clear light sleeve and fill around pole on underside of bucket and maybe use foam on outside to look like pole in snow. Bought a battery powered blue rope light too to shove inside clear tube.....It's all designed in my head at the moment...lol

Microfiber ones can be tossed in the wash and are often non-slip, water-resistant and are comfy and soft.

Today, I have bought nothing. Not for work; not for myself. But yesterday, oh yesterday. The company card was burning and I picked up some extra deli items to stretch through the week and weekend including salmon, a curry orzo salad, 3 bean salad and roasted cauliflower.

Another visit to the vet. Just a follow-up; Brittany is fine.
