Going out with Mum to Barter Books, one of my favourite places, we sat and chatted, she showed me photo's she'd taken at Edinburgh Zoo, four of them were of a leopard which just sat right there in front of her, so she was over the moon, she loves big cats, one day I'd love to be able to afford for her to actually get to meet one in the flesh (a tame one, obviously lol) mostly because I know how much she's always wanted to feel a big cats feet, touch their fur and feel what their tails are like. It was great to get the change to talk to her, she's been working hard the past few weeks and we've not really had time to just sit, but she's got all next week off, so we'll probably go visit the relics, so we'll get to spend lots more time together and I can't wait.

after a truly retched day, i met a wonderful young boy walking his disabled aunts dog....he was a breath of fresh air for my soul....and i think he may have been an angel....ive worked here since march and never saw him before...he 'gave my heart a change of mood, and saved some part 'of a day i had rued'

i rescued a wicked old trunk from the dump today....along with a big plastic santa that was gonna be crushed....literally....if he didnt get a home today.....forgot to tell teddy we have a new family member....lol

Had a super fantabulous (yes that's a real word in my world) time at the dance tonight.
Danced all night. Smiled all night. I will not be smiling tomorrow however when I realize how painkillers and alcohol only hid how much pain I am in. Tomorrow will be rough. |
Went out to lunch today - good to be distracted for a few hours. My colleague and I decided to wander through the department store and I tried on a red blouse which surprisingly fitted me.
The colour was great, the fit not too bad but according to my colleague the ruffled/pleated Elizabethan-esq collar was a bit much. I felt that the extra padding for the grrls would have had them feeling a bit inadequate. Can't have the grrls feeling inadequate. |
Music, having the day off and it's Football Sunday.....a few private thoughts, too :)

Sleeping in late ALWAYS makes me smile... waking up warm & cozy under two blankets & a comforter with a cold face in our first frost of the year, having the day off & my toothache feeling better are just lovely bonuses. And it's still early in the day! I'm ready for more smiles.

ha ha an invite to go on a motorcycle run with a group i rode with in phoinex all butches/ftms/ and a few femmes.. they are doing a breast cancer ride and everyone has to wear pink panties!!.. this should be good.. side not says you will be required to show your panties befor the ride!

My mother gave me a doggie bubbler...I've been wanting one since the dogs are always running out of water....and the cat shares it also....BUT....
the reason she gave it to me is because her big bad pit bull is afraid of it!! :| |
