New, very warm, water proof boots from Tractor Supply... Reading today that Cheeto Trump got his ass handed to him by the Appeals Court. And made my day when I saw a political cartoon of Lady Liberty giving him a well deserved SMACK. |

1. Feeling really, really happy even when things are tough
2. Only having coffee cups with random hilarious sayings, favorite photos, or special memories in my cabinet 3. Scoring an AMAZING red dress to wear for a very special occasion 4. Having a couple of gay men in my life who work in the beauty industry who love to shower me with gifts. I just got a crazy package from one of them who works for MAC and he sent me 7 lipsticks, several eye shadows, strobing powder, mascara, perfumes, and on and on. Such generosity and beauty in that man. 5. Forehead kisses |

Being completely absorbed in a task; whether it be research, painting, writing, dancing, reading etc.
Taking myself out on a date: fabulous meal, after dinner drinks, a nice leisurely nighttime walk by the ocean, a cigar while watching the waves roll in with my toes in the cool sand When my dogs sense I am awake and hop in bed with me for cuddles and gentle play When the gas tank is full, money in my pocket, good music playing and a whole day of exploring is stretched out before me The easy fluid way my body moves after dancing, like it is awake and ready for anything |

I'd like to think I have a good sense of humor...that strangest things that would never make me laugh before, make me laugh now, so I guess my appreciation for humor is getting better.
Waking up early and not being bitterly resentful because I woke up early. Pearly skies and cooler weather (next week there is another heat wave, tho).
