They are currently taking turns giving me one on one cuddle time and it is hella cute

IrishAmazon 06-04-2017 02:17 PM

While reorganizing my closet (color coding), both cats curled up in piles of clothes, the moment I sat down to sort out some keeps and give aways, Joker, the very aloof I'm nobody's possession boy came up rubbed noses with me and then curled up in my lap to finish his nap.

I could fight it, this is new and very welcomed behavior. I have been waiting for this for a while just bidding time till he decided that he was ready. I may have thought twice about it if it were Bruce, he's always wanting to be in my lap or on my shoulder.

That was cute IrishAmazon.

The kitten has started sitting in my lap occasionally. None of my other kitties became lap cats until they were much older so this is a pleasent suprise.

My baby cat has specific places she likes to cuddle, and the recliner is not one of them. But, after I sit down in the recliner, to show her affection, she'll come halfway across the room and lie down nearby. She'll usually do a few of her "Don't you think I'm cute" poses, too. And, of course, I'll tell her how pretty she is. Once she has had enough, she'll go back to her cat tree or go about her cat business.

Got into my big plastic cup of ice tea and ate 4 cubes of ice out of it!
Behind my back, till I caught her!

Lyte 06-04-2017 10:05 PM

What beastie do you have that eats ice and (more impressive) can take them out of a cup without knocking it over?! :|

I'd not heard of Rat Terriers till I came to Texas. They're quite popular here! That is impressive! :koolaid:

Yes they are quite popular here in Texas, I've only seen maybe 7 in my neighborhood in 20 years... each owner liked the fact that there isn't much grooming to the breed!

Bard 06-06-2017 09:22 AM

yeaterday morning I came downstairs to a exploded paper-towel roll in the middle of the living room and the Sheppard Gracie looking at me as if to say YOU know I did not do this I still am not sure who the culprit was

and last night reading in bed as is my habit with the whippet at my feet snoring when the younger of the two kitties comes up and sprawls herself across my chest and purrs like crazy till she falls asleep

Ender 06-07-2017 08:14 PM

My dogs went for a walk, and slept on the deck all day.
My cats just slept all day. Must be nice to be a cat...

I am caring for my neighbor's cat for a while because they are on vacation. The kitty decided to come into the house tonight for a nap which is okay because we have a past but the kitten could not contain herself so there has been a lot of activity in the house tonight. It is a kitty party. Haha!

cinnamongrrl 06-09-2017 10:16 PM

Eleanor abandoned me for the love of another.

Apparently she isn't aware of who buys her catfood...

bright_arrow 06-10-2017 03:07 AM

Puke not once, but twice, on my newly shampooed area rug...

cricket26 06-10-2017 07:57 AM

the little one learned how to escape thru the bars of the baby gate that has been up for 2 years...so i did some adjusting

Haha! Three fixed females so that would be a miracle. :)

IrishAmazon 06-10-2017 01:35 PM

Wore my and two teenage boys out! Took them all to the mountain climbed rocks, they learned a bit about atom bombs, couldn't believe it hasn't been discussed it school yet.

Riley taught the oldest boy how to walk on a leash, drug him up and down the trrock,

bright_arrow 06-10-2017 05:41 PM

Cried because I wouldn't let them into the office, finally all five settled down in front of the sliding doors, then I go into office and all five come in and proceed to start licking themselves *cringe*

Martina 06-14-2017 06:17 PM

I bought one of those cat tunnels. I have had it for two months, and she has shown very little interest in it. Suddenly, today, she is running through it, poking her head out of it, running into it and scooting it around. Odd cat. lol.

girl_dee 06-14-2017 08:35 PM

attacked me with kisses when i got in the door.

Soft*Silver 06-14-2017 09:35 PM

my three year old grand daughter (helped me) wash her miniature horse today. Oh my lord...it was too cute and made my heart shimmer. Those two are so bonded and she is getting so brave as she gains experience! He, like most ponies, have a stubborn mischievous side to him. But not with her. He let that little girl run a washrag and sponge all over him while he stood perfectly still...but when I did it, he wouldnt stand still! LOVE that pony!!! <3

candy_coated_bitch 06-14-2017 09:52 PM

What DIDN'T she do would be a better question!

candy_coated_bitch 06-14-2017 10:49 PM

PS I think my kitten farts.

ClintB 06-14-2017 11:29 PM

He was my buddy and caretaker. I'm having some medical issues which kept me home today (don't worry, went to the doctor too). My dog was the best part of the day. He hung out and soaked up the extra attention.

We all fart!

But it makes me giggle when an animal does it and it surprises them. The look on their faces!

GeorgiaMa'am 06-17-2017 09:00 PM

Kitty Diva has decided the best place to sleep is where the other pillow on my bed would be, if there were another pillow on my bed. She wants to snuggle with her butt right up my nose. (Ewwww.)

She was previously sleeping at the foot of the bed. I'm not sure what made her decide to change locale.

FYI, Tiny Dog sleeps on the floor as close as possible to me.

ClintB 06-17-2017 11:51 PM

Swam and played fetch in the water. Unfortunately my dog hates fishing, thinks it's a total rip off I would bring him to the river and not throw sticks for him. So this was payback for being a boring doggy parent.

GeorgiaMa'am 06-24-2017 09:20 AM

Kitty Diva is getting older. She misses about half the time when she tries to jump on the bed. She keeps trying though! I keep treats next to the bed for her - I think she definitely deserves rewards for effort.

JDeere 06-24-2017 10:17 AM

Busted asleep on the pillows on the leather couch, that she is not supposed to be on!

The kitten herded a pregnant scorpion in my direction to kill. She is becoming a great scorpion hunter.

The baby kitty is on lap duty.

New Kitten momma

Little ninja kitten decided momma needed to give her attention so she plopped right onto the laptop and curled up.

Penelope 06-24-2017 09:18 PM

The old man wanted to lie in the area we just dug up dirt Over.And.Over. :doghead: LOL And I think the cat might have peed on the rocks we just put in. :| Did I mention the other dog got skunked this week?:doh:

JDeere 06-25-2017 12:30 AM

Ate all the ice out of my cup, AGAIN! For like the millionith time.

~SweetCheeks~ 06-25-2017 01:47 AM

Our kitten hides all day while Daddy is home, but the moment I get home and come into the bedroom she is right there next to me. She goes to sleep between us and has to have a paw touching me. She's honestly the cutest kitten ever.

Sounds like you need to stop leaving your cups where they are accessible or get your fur baby one of their own.

The baby kitty wants to lay on my lap even when I am hot and sweaty. Silly kitty.

Gayandgray 06-28-2017 06:19 PM

Barked like crazy to alert me to the deer they saw out the window. They can see out when they are up on the bed!:hangloose:

I think that I spoiled the baby kitty. Last night before I fell asleep I noticed that the baby kitty's head was laying in one hand and my other hand was rubbing her tummy.

The kitten still sleeps in her own bed.

The baby kitty is a happy cuddler.
