Yesterday, I posted the above in reference to two wonderful people that have hearts of gold... I had very timidly asked if I could borrow one of their cars this weekend because mine is having issues and I'm scared to drive it (Chevy dealers have been a HUGE pain in the ass to get ANYTHING fixed under warranty)... without hesitation, they granted permission as if they had full trust in me. Today, on the way to dinner, they GAVE me the car "for a dollar". Their generosity made me hold back tears. My life is so very blessed to have such caring, awesome people that "have my back". I'm still in SHOCK of their generosity and in shock that I can FINALLY get rid of that THORN IN MY SIDE, POC Chevy Aveo. I don't know how I'm gonna pay them back, but they have certainly earned their wings in my view. |
An act of kindness
After standing for over an hour at the DMV today. 2 people offered up their seats to my mom and me.

They sky in evening. Cyan darkening under rolling clouds like a velvet coverlet sliding over satin sheets. The softest breeze, cool against my bare legs, contrasting with the radiating warmth of the pavement as I walk in solitude. Content in the moment.

Having my Monday on my Tuesday which in reality is a Saturday. Horray for Sunday which is my Friday!!!!!
Gotta love those short work weeks. Memories of the beautiful PNW and the coast and the love shared. It could not have been more wonderful :) |
