The touch of another's flesh Ok, sex and bondage, and the art of giving proper bruises. Music A walk in the woods Water in many forms Singing, alone or with my parrots while cleaning, or in an ensemble or choir Music Sex Geez, I forgot dancing!!!!! Quiet time. Especially early morning Different foods I think that I just love Life! |

I really enjoy having a little funky house. I enjoy everything from keeping it in sound condition (it's 70 years old) figuring out ways to make it more energy efficient to decorating it! I enjoy having a yard with both a veggie garden (want to extend it) to planting and caring for flowers. I even enjoy mowing the lawn and weeding! Even though I hate to paint (mostly because of arthritis), I still like playing with color to come up with rooms that feel comfortable and have the best use of natural light.
Yup, sometimes (especially lately), I feel a bit of the mortgage burden, but, this little place is my palace and I hope I do get to eventually do the remodeling and other things I have thought about. I am a home body and feel centered here. I like to put around and fix stuff and I am really enjoying having time available to work on my place since retiring. Now, if the recession would actually recover, I would be able to do more. I would like a lover to become part of this little place... well, one that lives close by.... Except, as in the past, she can have the spare bedroom to decorate as her own and tell me to get the hell out of it, if she wants. same goes for me in my room.... I just enjoy having a home to call my own. Even when I think about new roofs or drain pipes. |

Learning - loving this new software at work - like having a totally new job.
Driving to work - the peace and quiet - thru the pines, taking the longer route so that I can enjoy the forest. Getting up at daybreak - readying myself for work before anyone else is up and enjoying that first cup of coffee and the solitude. Having two bedrooms - which affords me the opportunity to enjoy the above ;) I enjoy being silly with the *Hottie* he makes my day brighter with his *grins* I enjoy my life ~ my family ~ my job ~ my friends (f) |

Every summer I allow myself ONE plate of deep fried scallops, and ONE banana split. I still have the banana split to look forward to. I think the anticipation is half the fun!

What do I enjoy?
I enjoy my friends, getting hugs from my sons, the smiles on the kids faces when I walk into my classroom in the morning. I enjoy peaceful happy people.......Oh yes and I enjoy Chocolate.........:eatinghersheybar:

I enjoy beautiful days driving with the top down through the Marin Headlands near the Golden Gate Bridge - with a picnic along.
I enjoy re-reading my favorite books and catching new interpretaions I have from the last reading. Life is like that... moves us through so many ways to consider things. I also enjoy a new read! I enjoy seeing new strawberries in my garden and bell peppers. Daily treks at the dog park with my pooch give me some quiet near the Bay. I always wander away from the thick of the canines and people to walk and think and just take in the birds and skip some stones. My dog's happiness while out is a source of joy. I enjoy having coffee with a friend or two and finding out how they have been doing. I enjoy it when I can talk about what is going on with me to a close friend that knows my ups and downs. You know, going beyond small talk. I enjoy politics and election time. So, I decided this election cycle to volunteer for Barbara Boxer's campaign here in CA. I love old movies and like to see them in a theater. Breakfast at Tiffany's is at a local theater for one night this week. So, I am going to go see it. Ah, Audrey!! Yikes, I'm old!! I enjoy fixing up an older Class B RV I have. Been cleaning and waxing and fixing little broken things in it. Recently repalced a battery and now working on some leaky water lines. Getting ready to do something else I enjoy- go fishing! I enjoy it when my kid and his family visit. He is coming to town this next weekend. I'll go fishing the following. Have grand daugters to see! Although, I enjoy time to myself, I'm feeling an internal shift. I believe I am at a place in which I want more than to just date. It's been quite awhile since I have felt like I am ready for something long term. Well, what do ya' know! That part of me is back! |
