i am thankful for the insistence of honesty.
For being held accountable. For not being allowed to slide under the radar. For being expected to be towards others the way i expect people to be with me. For the opportunity to grow and trust and know it's ok...and for the not-so-gentle reminders when i lose sight of this for a minute. i don't appear thankful for certain things, especially if they are probably for my own good, but i am thankful for them deep down inside. :hippie: |
i am thankful for :
- wake up calls.. the ability to let go & heal. - to have enough respect for myself to want better & seek strength through friends & loved ones.. - for sincerity in my heart, that wants good things for people, even when it brings hurt to myself. - for the 'me' time i've already spent since 2011 began, the progress, the sheer pleasure of feeling the growth each day.. - 2 beautiful children, who show me unconditional love each day. - the hope of a well balanced future, of dreams coming true, of true love being found and a lifetime of bliss.. one can always hope & dream.. |

I am thankful for my girl who stands at my side and even takes care of me when I am way hungover ICK and for my beautiful amazing daughter who is sweet smart and my shining star our two cats the elderly Jasmine who is my cuddle bug and the sweet full of enegry Juliet the baby and not to be forgotten My horse Skyler who brought something back in my life yes I may have rescued her but I think she more rescued me .. our family and last but never least my step mom Jen who was always and is always there for me more of a mother then my own ever was .. because she did not have to be

I am always thankful for Mare and the privilege of being able to wake up next to Her each day. |
I am thankful for:
1. Her love and the precious time we spend together 2. The doctor calling me back (finally!) 3. My parents still being alive and still married to one another 4. My close friends and even my not so close friends; they all have their place 5. The unconditional love of my furkids 6. My Tempurpedic mattress! |
i am thankful for:
- 2 loving, responsible teenagers who help me around the house so much just to make me smile when i come back home from work ... - getting off work an hour early tonight (with pay) because it's storming out.. it's really generous that our boss allows us to do this when it's really bad outside.. - the dose of reality tonight.. though sometimes hurtful, it makes me a stronger person in the end.. - music - it's my escape, it soothes my soul, and always fits my mood, whether i need a pick me up, or something while feeling sentimental, something to rawk the heck out or if i just want to scoot around cleaning the house dancing like no one is watching and singing into a spatula being the star of the show, it always makes everything feel right again.. |

going out to dinner and then to a live theater play with my sister. How close we have become. How dear she is to me. She is my best friend. I cannot imagine not having her in my daily life. How blessed it is to have a sister...

time...time is not always a blessing but at the end of the day I'm thankful for it.
patience...which took me many years to learn, and now I think sometimes I'm to patient. babies...I love them until they are teenagers, I still love 'em then just don't like them sometimes. Weber grills...cuz without them I'd been eating a saltine sandwich tonight. |

Im thankful for the suns rises over the river.
My fur kids who keep me sane in this crazy world I often dont fit in. My son who,even at 38,never fails to say good night mom then says love ya mom before he goes to bed.We sound like the waltons at bed time. Im thankful to be able to watch my son prosper and grow into the person he has become. For friends even if they live away from hear,we are only a phone call away. To have a somewhat decent job at my age when so many dont have one. |

i am thankful that i know i found true love one time in my life even if God did take her way to soon. im thankful for good medical insurance in my time of need. im thankful that i am not crippled in a wheel chair from some of the amazing stunds ive pulled in my younger years. i am thankful for my loving/accepting/wonderful family. im thankful for everyday good or bad.

Skype -- and the ability, as his Momma, to realize that he seems happy... and that's all that matters even though it hurts something fierce - because, it really isn't about me or his other Mom. (and not to mention this is a fantastic opportunity for him, and i am thankful for *that.)
