I'm forced to remove one from my list

I've not been that thrilled with the past two seasons of Mad Men and after that stupid storyline about Roger's daughter running off to join a hippy cult, I'm done!! REALLY????????? She'd run off and leave the charmed life she always lived, I think NOT!!!!! Sorry writers I have better stuff to do with my time.

ProfPacker 05-21-2014 03:46 PM

I hear you about Mad Men but I figure might as well finish out the last season. I did think last week's episode was more like the old stuff, though

The Walking Dead season 8

I was looking for a thread on this site to post in it,couldn't find one.:sigh:

Anyways, that's about it.I use to watch 2 Broke Girls, but they cancelled it.

Kätzchen 10-20-2017 08:56 AM

I'm going to house sit again the first week of November, so I hope to catch up with TV shows my BFF has dvr'd for me and also watch a few movies too! :)

We should start one.

Did you know that the first season started on a October 31st, 2010?!

It kind of blew my mind watching that first episode and I was hooked.

I did not watch all episodes last season.

Negan really upset me and his level of violence against humans that I had grown to care about; really, really, bothered me.

I am hoping that he gets his, this season.

Tuff Stuff 10-20-2017 10:52 AM

You really should start one.:cheesy:

I also watched the very first episode, and still today, totally hooked.Rick's group has been through so many heartaches and dealing with one asshole after the next.

I hate every bone in Negan's body, lol. You know he's going to get his.

I know this show is based on a comic, but I never read it. I prefer the show.

I'm just a die hard fan.I played both video games and bought all the memorabilia crap.

Kätzchen 10-20-2017 11:33 AM

My BFF daughter is hopelessly devoted to this TV show! LOL

It's like an night time soap opera: she can recite every evil deed Neegan has committed since day one of the TV show's inception. She loves this show as much as I loved and was an devoted fan to General Hospital, LOL :giggle:

I would love it if you all decided to devote an forum thread to ....
The Walking Dead.... I'd read it daily, just like an Ann Landers or Dear Abbey advice column or even Peanuts or Blondie in the Sunday Comic's section of the newspaper. :balloon:

Ha!

Yes, I want to do some sleuthing first, to make sure that there is not a hidden Walking thread and then, if there isn't one; will do.

I do not read the comics either. I have been tempted when Amazon has had some good prices on several as a package but I don't really want to know what will happen next.

Do you watch Fear the Walking Dead?

I think that it was really good this season. I did not like the first season at all.

Nick irritated the hell out of me but his character has greatly improved this season...

I never remember his sister's name so that should tell you the impact she makes on me.

Anyone else watch Mosaic, and if so could you explain the ending? Even tho Joel confessed, I'm not buying it!

I have all episodes on my DVR. When I watch them, I will let you know about the ending, provided that I understand it myself!

I must say, I started watching ep I a couple of days ago and I really could not get into it.

I am going to try again!

Me and Mary had to watch episode twice, with the closed caption on, to get the gist of things! And as I understand it, those with a smart phone could download an app to get addition clues.

I did find this article just now online.....

I'm so sorry I squandered my time on this....

Is anyone else watching J.K's Simmons Counterpart on Starz?

Again we had to watch episode 1 twice, and with closed captions on!

I didn't have as much trouble following episode 2 and I seem to be getting the gist of things much better! Hopefully I won't regret my time be wasted on this series like it was on Mosaic!

Yes, I just started it.

Finished episode one. Totally reminds me of Fringe, one of my favorite shows that came on about 10 years ago.

Parallel universes.

If I hadn't watched Fringe, I would have had a much more difficult time with Counterpart.

I am going to stick with it for now and see where it goes.

Mosaic, probably not!

One of the very best new shows that I am watching is The Alienist. It is really excellent.

homoe 02-19-2018 11:42 AM

At present ONLY Jeopardy............

I've been SO turned off by programs lately where I've had to watch with the volume cranked up and still not being able to hear so putting on the subtitles, scenes shot in such dark lighting you can]t see who's in it or what the hell is going on, rewinding parts to catch what I missed the first time around, asking Mary plot lines, etc etc the list goes on!

I'm just gonna stick with Jeopardy for now!
