UAC? Which browser are you using? (Internet Explorer? Firefox? Safari?)

There is no ActiveX for chat as it's a Java chat so I'm a little concerned about what you're getting.

So hoping this is where I need to come and whine to you about the weirdness of my experiences on here since this afternoon... If not, I apologize.

When I try to "thank" folks I get a message that reads:
I was also having problems with editing my posts. It wasn't giving me the regular editing setup but rather another message box. I didn't try to edit in it though because I wasn't sure that it wouldn't give a double post of the same entry.

When you log in, do you check off the box to stay logged in? Ive checked your permissions and they are fine so I'm a bit puzzled why you cannot do this.

Yeh I have it where it's an auto log in but I will close out completely and try again.

A clearing of the cache and a reboot seems to have solved it. Feels a bit sluggish and hopefully it'll settle down.

On the front page look for an icon on the top right that says Chat. It has a rainbow on it.

Yes I know its been a fue years since I bought this place, but I am just now am gonna paint the kitchen a sparkey shade of yellow.It already has white trim but is painted a sick shade of grey,then im puting a new floor down cause its the peel and stick crap,we all know it dosent sitck very well.

a suggestion from a fellow Canadian. If you click on butchfemmeplanet.com, directly under the big black sign, the other face page comes up. I couldn't figure out how to find it for weeks, and found it by chance. Then you will see the chat room, info on the Reunion, and all the planeteers that are online.

I ran a repair/fix and that seems to have settled it down!

Our CP table gets full and has to be burped every now and then :)

I think the site is telling us all to enjoy this week (Canada Day/Independence Day week) with it's little burps today. I did a repair/optimize but if you see anything odd TODAY (July 2, 2013) please let me know.

I have been having similar issues for the last couple of days. Another thing that I have noticed is that the site is logging me off fairly frequently, perhaps every hour or so. The logging off part is not a problem, I am guilty of wandering off for long periods of time, it is just different than it used to be.

I've cleared the server's cache so let me know if that helps. If not I may have to do a reboot to clear out left over connections from our multitude of spammers and/or attackers.

The reality is that the slowdown is a side effect of a lot of things. I mentioned a few above but we also have the reality of being a large, active site that gets attention of others, malicious and other wise.

Oh certainly that adds to it as well. But without those what would the site be like? It's easy enough to adjust by turning pictures off for the site. You can use something like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...textonly&hl=en to reduce your browsing to text only and that should do a marked speed improvement.
