Yup, I remember home milk delivery as well. Bancroft Dairy did them in our small town!

We had a milk shute on the side of our house where the milk man would place the milk.

Sometimes mama would forget her keys and I'd have to climb through the shute to open the door for us.

My mom had many of these and she used them for everything from storing potatoes to carrying laundry!

Ohhhh I remember those!!!!

Wasn't Kmart home of the "Flashing Blue Light" special? They'd announce a limited time special price on an item and you could get over and buy the item or not?
