No one asked (at least not twice).

I never asked (the prenup would have been Biblical).

I'm assuming you mean "married/partnered" in a legally binding sense...for me, personally, that would be a bureaucratic gooey web and involve my kids. But I do appreciate having the right to do it just like everyone else and I certainly support everyone else's rights to marry/partner.
If you mean simply "partner" as in doing a bit of do-see-do-ing for as long as the music lasts...I suppose I've done my share.
