1) For my cat—leave the a/c window unit on a temp high enough that it won't run constantly when I'm on a trip, only when it gets below 74. (DUH!) *don't worry, she has a cat-sitter coming 2x a day, as well. :D

2) Using old sewing patterns (on the thin tissue paper) for wrapping gifts (again, probably not an original idea).

3) I clean the tub every time I take a shower, so there's no build-up.

That's as far as my mind takes me these days.
