Glad your *talk* with your son went well and yes it is going to be a busy month for me. I am open to meeting up in May, once this semester is finished. After this semester, I will have three classes left before I can start the nursing program. I have to have my TEAS test taking before May, so I can enter the nursing program. I'm going to need a vacation, hehe.

Looks like this thread as died down. I am a newbie to BFP so I thought I would see if I could get this one going again.

I am in Jax and there is little community here. Where are all the FL folks at?

I just have niot found the huge community here that you referred. I know a few folks, but really just have not seen anything else other than the bars. I guess I need to talk to you to find the community!! LOL And I have been her for 20 years!

How are you doing? Good to see you as well. Yea, we need to get together sometime...I will share with you..at least the community I know. They do a LOT! Pride planning is underway now...I am not sure when it is. There was a dance this past weekend...another one is coming up in November I believe the lady told me. In June is a huge art show that is all women artists...and is in its 13th year. Have one of our two mutual friends here give you my email addy or cell number...OR you can PM me and I will give it to you.
I have actually just begun to venture out but have been aware of this social circle for about 6 months. It is a really nice venue and some incredible women.

Doing well here. Just finished getting the new step on the Jeep for momma. She can now get in without hurting too much.

Yeah, I know about pride. I have a booth there every year as well as Gainesville, St Pete this year and Orlando this year. But, I know of nothing else. Also, years ago when I did hit the clubs, I found the women to be very anti trans. I stopped going for many reasons, but that was indeed one of them. Again, this was 20 years ago.

PM me your email address. I think you have or are planning to meet with a good friend of mine for the other site. I know she is looking for community too, although I think she is more active than I am as I care for my mom.

Well maybe we all need to do coffee of something one day. It is hard for me to go to far with caring for mom. I have to stay ear my house if I leave her. But, I am game for a quick meet and greet anywhere near me. I am near Avondale in Murray Hill.
