I will have my alterations lady reduce the length a bit - present length is too long - looks tacky. At that give away price, wish I could have found a couple more pairs in my size but there was only the one. Hey, I am happy with one. :) |
What did I get ..yesterday.I got a visor to wear when I go for a walk,a pair of hikeing boots,1 pair of black jeans,three pullover sweaters,stuff for the fur kids and half a bushel of sweetpotatos.

We adopted (bought) two female rats. There family could no longer care for them. Laerkin is happy to have girls in the house now. I also bought the boys (our three gerbils) a coconut chew toy/hideaway Now we have four cats, three gerbils and two rats. The gerbils and now the rats stay in my room, aka the rodent room. |

A bag of Merrick dog food for Kelly and Kevin. Damn, I have really spoiled these two furfaces. I cooked them Hamburger Helper for breakfast this morning. I only put a little of the powder flavoring in it - have to watch the sodium. It is way too late in the game to unspoil them - they would report daddy-abuse. LOL!
Also purchased a pair of men's Hugo Boss jeans - happened to walk by a clearance counter and see they were marked down from $145.00 to ... get this ... $24.99 ... I would never buy them at regular price. They fit and look great - can't wait to wear them! :) |

plastic carpet runners for my dining room. Rat dog, Bartock the chihuahua, has taken to using the back of the room as his personal "spot". after rug cleaning and dousing and drying vinegar galore all over it, I went to the dollar store and bought plastic runners and laid them down there. Crossing my fingers and hoping it works... bread...its time for grilled cheese and bacon sammiches! |
