a long drive home after a WONDERFUL weekend with friends that mean so very much to me!! (I accomplished making it home without giving into the temptation of stopping to spend one more night at a hotel in the mountains somewhere.)
Yesterday, I accomplished learning LOTS of things about making salsa, jams and jellies that make me very excited about trying it all on my own.

A great swim

Cleaned some around inside.
Decobwebbed and swept both porches.
Washed my car.
Started setting up the kid's bedroom.
Washed dishes.
Didn't think I was going to do a darn thing, heh.

I spent the whole damn day pumping and wet-vac'ing my basement.

• take boys to school

• cleaned stove top (baking soda and water...makes it sparkle)
• took a shower in there somewhere

Folded and put away a load of towels and a load of work shirts
Washed remaining laundry, and it is currently in the dryer
Put away clean dishes and washed all the ones in the sink
Wiped down counters
Put away all the canned food that tends to accumulate on our kitchen table
Swept
Cleared off the misc items (lunch box, toolbox, boxes of cake mix and packages of cookies) off the seating of our kitchen table
Packed clothes for this weekend

Bard put away the couch bed (it's been out almost a month to help hym be comfortable) and vacuumed, both of which I am grateful for. Just need to clear off PC desk and everything will be pretty much back to normal :) Did my homework a few days early and have it turned in so I can have a stress-free weekend (while reading a book for a book review paper due in three weeks, that is).

Now that I feel all caught up, I can really make myself sit down and focus on my genogram (I keep saying that, I know!)

I also played some World of Warcraft to unwind and catch up on stuff I've missed (I need to play a little more to justify $20/month..Or just stop paying&playing for awhile since I don't make time for it anymore).

I cleaned the common areas of my house... my room still needs to be cleaned ugh. I stayed within my calorie goal today, and have resisted the urge to snack! yaya :-D

Yesterday...rough day
 

Hoping that today goes more smoothly....yesterday looked like:

• up at 5:30...cup of instant coffee for me (no time for regular)
• breakfast for Rooster and me
• packed his lunch
• got dressed (usually I hang out in pj's for awhile)
• delivered boys to school
• took car straight to dealership for service
• yelled at rude man
• discovered that the car needs $768 worth of maintenance...not including new tires, which need to be done "soon"
• did not faint
• got a ride home on the courtesy shuttle
• lost internet several times while trying to work and do conference calls
• Scoote fought with comcast on the phone while I unplugged, replugged, disconnected, reconnected, pressed reset buttons, etc.
• yelled at Comcast for awhile and got promised a service call between 2 and 5
• worked offline (which is a pain in the butt, but I actually got a lot done)
• snacked because my stomach was too upset to eat lunch
• took advil for headache (rare for me)
• got picked up by courtesy shuttle at about 3...back to the dealership
• did not faint while paying for car
• drove home, kept working, waited until 5.....no service for cable
• called Comcast and spent 20 minutes on hold, being shuttled around and being generally pissy with them for their incompetence
• waited half an hour for a supervisor to call me back
• heated up homemade soup for dinner
• in there somewhere....fed and watered animals, cleaned cat box
• talked to mom....she's sounding worse
• cancelled her flight here since she's still in hospital...thank goodness JetBlue has competent customer service people who were actually helpful and efficient....couldn't have taken more "service" like we're getting from Comcast
• read for awhile to calm down
• bed

Did I mention I hate Comcast?
They are *supposedly* coming this morning....now that I've messed with everything enough to get it working (temporarily no doubt) again.

Oh Comcast...how I love thee! Every bill is an adventure, every phone call with them is a treat!!!!

I'm going to finally sit and watch a movie

- got home from work @ 1.30am
- talked with roomie. he said his gf said I didn't do a very good cleaning job.
- managed not to kill roomie. very calmly replied that if she thought I didn't do a very good job than she was more than welcome to come and clean to her standards.
- roomie says I should pay more rent. as in satellite. he didn't pay and it was shut off.
- had good laugh at roomie's expense - - - i get tv at work!
- went to bed before roomie had chance to start argument
- up at 8.30
- did 2 loads of laundry
- currently taking a break from mopping floors
- will starf to get ready for work soon

Ton's of stuff this morning, right up until about one o'clock.
Nothing since then.

I work better when I have a list, so guess what I am going to do. Make another to do list.

I dang sure better have accomplished getting a nice shiny "A" on my accounting quiz!

Worked 5:30-1:30 but was stuck there until 2:30 resolving two customer issues that got dumped on me (meaning I tried to lend a hand and got all of it) - however, I did resolve both issues to customer's satisfaction!

Bard met me at work and we did a little shopping - got a storage tote to store winter clothes, and a nice medium brown shelf to go over the couch so I can buy a few of the Christmas town buildings at Lowe's (f) Also got a nice Fall welcome mat for $5

Dropped off hys prescription I found (only a month later!) as hy got 'sidetracked' following me home a.k.a. hy went and got my chicken nuggets and a mango-pineapple smoothie <3 I found some caramel apple lollipops at Rite Aid and splurged!

Came home and ate dinner - made me day a hell of a lot nicer! (I forgot to mention 2 hours talking to IT, Customer Care and ICS trying to resolve an issue - one that no one fixed!)

Bard drew me a bath with salts because my feet have been killing me lately, and mysterious bruises showed up on top of my right foot :|

Was then treated to a warm lotion leg and shoulder massage.. Somewhere in there I passed out *sheepish look*

Got up and tidied up the living room (a.k.a. putting books on shelves and putting all my random books on our big bookcase), cleared off my dresser, filed away hospital papers (just in case)
