I really like:
Surprise cards from my 94 year old grandmother just to say she loves me. The sound of the crickets talking to the moon. Lightning bugs that flit and float silently in the yard whilst lighting up the night. Sweet frozen cherries. Depth. Gentle souls that are surrounded by a strong outer shell. Cookies (I mean, really, who doesn't?) That feeling of fulfillment after having taken care of all of ones chores. Life and all of its possibilities. |

Fall...the colors, the clothes, the smell of wood burning.
Long showers...with or without company. Chocolate. Brunch...the most important meal of the week. Letting my Brazilian wax grow out. Riding the subway...makes me feel like I'm truly a functioning part of the city, like a cell riding through the body. Peace...inner or world. The Stones...music to do bad things to. Coffee...the stronger, the better. Cigars...the taste, the smell, and the looks I get from people when I smoke one. Children...their laughter never fails to cheer me, their tears never fail to move me. Great conversation...fueled by wine or coffee. Flirting. |

taking a stuffed animal to the vet and watching the expression on people's faces. baked ham and scalloped potatoes. cocktails. The whole process of making them, sipping them, pairing them with the right appetizer, the correct glass. blood orange gelto. to sit in a yard full of garden knomes and wave at cars that go by. to tell people "thank you" for no reason. throw skittles at people and say “TASTE THE FRICKEN RAINBOW!!!”. grits. |
I really like it... when my brain shuts off... Its been one of those days and I just cant concentrate at work... sigh.. :blink:
but on a brighter note... I really like it when my coworkers are out for the afternoon and I can turn off the overhead lights and just have my cubicle lights on... really helps with a tension headache :) |

When the temperature does not result in unwanted body moisture... When I can get home, strip and put on my pj's cuz I am done for the night... Coming home to family instead of an empty house or hotel room... Having an on-line community (many of whom I have met in person). |
I like listening to music when I'm just on the edge of sleep...every note becomes a world within itself.
