Playing hookie, puppy kisses, puppy sighs (as if the whole world is on her shoulders, no less), getting out of my work clothes, getting rid of STUFF, and nice messages. Oh, and work is OVER for today. Yaaaaay for today!

The kittens are back in the building. And their mother growled at me when I opened the building door this afternoon. Then I came in the house and it was dark inside and Ms T growled at me. Heck I'm starting to question if I'm suppose to be on my own property.

spending the day with my daughter..sharing italian ice...going to a couple garage sales and buying a kitchy set of retro plaster roses for my kitchen for a quarter...and a pink flashlight for a dime!

catching up with friends, getting lots of sleep, baking some cookies and bread today... enjoying the birds as the sing outside and spending time here today!

It was all because of El Azteca (a Mexican restaurant near the hotel)
While sitting in the car with my nephew and mother, I suddenly burst out into song. A song that I only know two verses to, but I was none the less happy to have sung them correctly. Even though there was too much of a pause towards the end. Unfortunately singing the song also made me a sad. It's interesting how smiles and sadness can combine at times...

I am pet sitting my niece's little dog that no one else wanted to watch because he is such a terror in the house. He cant be housebroken, wont stay off off the furniture, jumps on people and almost knocks them over and barks like crazy.
He is sitting pretty on my front porch, on the couch he knows he is allowed on. Others are off limits and he respects that. He has not had a single accident in the house. He has stopped jumping on me and sits and looks up at me when I am working around him and hasnt barked at all today. He is welcomed in my home at any time... by niece is not...lol...until I train her too! She is the dog's problem, not the other way around...but she is doing the best she can. working FT, raising 2 boys (who act alot like the dog does) and dealing with a bugger of an ex husband. I still thinks she needs to come stay over her auntie's house and learn how to relax and listen |
My adopted sisters bringing over home cooked meals for me. Plus they sat thru an entire lacrosse game on TV with me. God bless them both! Now that is true love. (f)(f) |
