Hi kim,

I was gifted one Christmas with this book. I absolutely loved it. I also bought the other novel by Garth titled How Evan Broke His Head. Truthfully, I did not find it as enjoyable as the Racing in the Rain.

I hope you end up enjoying the whole read. It will be interesting to hear your take on it.

As Always,
Jake

I am going to finish Racing in the rain this weekend...
As for anymore reading, I am going to have to focus on my A & P II for a while...
So my only reading is going to be Structure and Function of the Body until further notice...
If I can I will sneak in a quick read of something or other...

Happy reading everyone!

Inspirational Leadership

Lance Secretan, author. This masterpiece looks at taking leadership to a higher level by providing an underpinning of trust, loyalty, and dedication through a spiritual modality to all leaders - be it a formal leader or an informal leader.
Can you imagine being greeted every morning by your supervisor bowing to you reciting "Namaste?"

Me, either.

I finally finished Different Seasons by Stephen King. It is a set of four novellas. I am not a horror reader but was reading The Body for a class. I ended up reading the whole book. The other stories are Shawshank Redemption (loved it), Apt Pupil (couldn't stop reading it and it gave me bad dreams one night), The Body (Stand by Me was based on it) and The Breathing Method. Even if you are not a King fan or horror fan, and I am not, I do recommend this book.
