Hello postcarders :)

I have finally gotten more organized and have updated the list with Scoote and Tcountry's new mailing addresses. I've PM'ed you all those new addresses, but can also email a complete new list to anyone who would like one in MS Word. Just send me a PM. :cheesy:

I have to figure out how to do the DIY postcards. I was at Magic Kingdom yesterday and my friend took a picture of Cinderella's castle as we were leaving. The castle was beautifully lit up.

Thank you for the new addresses!

Here is the picture that I was telling Jo about...It is Cinderella's Castle at night and it was such a beautiful site! I will figure out how to put this on a postcard or I will send it out as a Christmas card...

Hi everyone :)

I just wanted to pop in and give a very belated but also heartfelt thank you to all of the postcarders who sent me such beautiful holiday cards.

It was a rough time this year...and getting a constant stream of cards and warm thoughts really brightened the holidays for me.

Hugs to you all,
Jo

BUMPETY BUMP BUMP!!

Hello fellow postcarders....and any new "wanna be" postcarders out there....

Since it's finally Spring (or something like that :) ) I thought I'd bump this thread and see if anyone wants to do "the postcard thing" again this year.

We had some folks on the list that are no longer on the site, so I think it's best to do it this way:
  1. If you want to send and receive postcards to your fellow planeteers, please send me a PM with your name and address
  2. However you send it to me is the way it will go out to your fellow postcarders....so make sure you send the name you want used!
  3. Once I receive a reasonable number, I'll start assembling the list and get it out (by email or snail mail) to everyone who's playing.
  4. If you want the list emailed to you, please include your email address in your PM to me to save some back and forth.
  5. Even if I had it last year, please send it again....my brain melted in between then and now.
  6. Once you get your list, feel free to send postcards as frequently or infrequently as you like to as many or few folks on the list as you like.

We want to keep this fun....and also know that postcards and stamps can get expensive for folks on a limited income....so please don't feel compelled to send to everyone all the time. Do what works for you! :)

Wolfy (I think it was) had a great suggestion last year about checking at local tourist info spots in highway rest areas for free postcards of the area. I never tried it, but I think it did work out well for a few people.

Let's get postcarding! :cheesy:

This was soooooooooo much fun! My kids loved reading the cards and looking at the pics on each one. I plan to be (at the least) in Nashville, TN and PCB, Florida this year so I will have at least two chances to mail cards from a non-local-to-me spot.

:)

:sparklyheart:
