Having an impromptu day off with my baby...
So we got to sleep in a little bit, and woke up slow in eachother's arms... Going to run errands, including getting the license plate for my "New" car! Getting to drive the "new" car and have some fun with Him this afternoon :carride::dance2: |

Being told by the Admissions counselor at where I am applying for my Masters program that all my paperwork looks like its in order and so forth just waiting on the final paperwork and interview later in the year.

I had a really good interview today. I won't know for a few days if I got the job or not, but I made a definite impression on the business owners (a married couple). I also made a new friend...their massive wolfhound who demanded cuddles and frisbee time in the middle of my interview. Oddly, that place had a feeling of home, plus I am well suited for the position. I'm hopeful as always, but I will leave it to the universe. (I seem to be doing that a lot lately...which has been taking people out of my life and showing me others more clearly. Either way, I am still smiling. :) )

2. Dakota 3. Petey My wonderful four pawed babies....they are amazing...they always make me smile...and are always so happy to see me - even if it's only been 2 minutes....it's like "yay!" ....lol! I have just watched them play and chase each other around for 10 minutes...and thought - wow ... dogs are so easily entertained...and then I realized I (had) just watched my dogs play for the last ten minutes... talk about easily entertained...lol! LOVE them...so much....I think they ALL get treats today!! :) |

So... My mom calls...and says...if you are not too tired ... why don't you "wander" over ...got something for you... I immediately think (chocolate chip cookies and milk - but I'm full from the coffee cake earlier - and I won't be able to refuse...lol) BUT...she presents me with the little batman statue - (early valentine) ...yeah - my mom still gets me a valentine every year - my brother too - and he's 8 years older than me (so there you go)... BUT I love it...I like toys (what can I say) ...just a little boy at heart...and he will go perfectly next to my Mr. Potato head and gumby - right inbetween the yo yo... :) ;) THANKS mom - you made me smile! |

Volunteering to help at my parents flower shop today :)

Teddy came to see me at work...and we stole away for about an hour....
It SHOULD be our day off together, so I didn't feel too bad about it :) The house is coming together. The colors we chose are looking very good :) We are getting projects done now that we have been waiting on for quite some time... I can officially go anywhere I want any time I want again :) My car is running very well...sooo glad we got a second opinion before we junked her! :) My daughter has some good news and is waiting to call me tonight after work to tell me...and no, she is NOT pregnant!! I'm thinking she is either getting promoted at work, going to back to school or buying that house she and her boyfriend looked at... :) |
I didn't stop smiling all day! It's been fantastic!!
It wasn't too cold on my morning walk, I had a productive day which is leading to work in the future, I had the best daydreams a wonderful lunch and I got complimented again! I can't wait to see what the rest of the day has in store. |
