After an afternoon researching, buying then using a new rechargeable lawn mower, I'm assembling tool cabinets* and getting ready to install them in a spare bedroom closet, while regularly checking to see if there's any chance of our seeing the northern lights tonight: http://helios.swpc.noaa.gov/ovation/ I REALLY hope so -- it's a bucket-list item for me, so I'm VERY excited about the possibility!

I think I'll have a glass of wine - though a beer seems more appropriate for these activities!


*yes, I'm a femme and I love my tool collection - I even bought some new screwdrivers today and I'm very excited about that! The cabinets were what I bought with my birthday money from my parents last year. I'm excited beyond all measure that now that the ex is out of here, I might actually be able to organize my tools and then FIND THEM where they're supposed to be!!! And I'm evil-girl thrilled to find that the ex left the ratchet set behind that I got him for a present some years ago -- and no, I'm not going to tell him that I found it.

O.k.I will give it a try.Most of the afternoon I have been watching the paint horse world show on live stream and will be doing it again tomorrow.Sunday will be kind of a slow day cause I already did most of what needed doing,with the exception of cleaning out the fridge then hauling out the trash/recycle box.Hopefully it will be a warmer and dryer day so me and the fur kids can go for a walk then come back for some outside play time.So far that's about it,yes I know it's not an exciting day but it is what it is.

I am not a social butterfly anyway, but I set aside this three-day weekend to get organized, do homework, go to extra 12-step meetings and clean my place. Kind of a whip myself into shape weekend. Ha.

Day 1 -- very little done. Lots of internet time. Several phone calls. Hoping Day 2 is more productive.

I spent Saturday night bathing 3.5 dogs, doing all the resulting wash and doing homework...

Tommorrow me and babygirl pup will pick up mama from work and we'll go to the park for a little fun. Then we'll come home and make a Chinese dinner and relax watching a movie on NetFlix. <family time>
